Very good poem :D

Pretty good. The whole book is full of symbolism. Nearly every character, human or otherwise, represents a larger thing. The island is a pure untouched place, representing the world before humans tainted it. I think this could have been better, but it was still good.

I loved it. Especially this part:
The flame, the sun,
And the cooling dark water

The flame(Jack) the sun(Ralph) and the cooling dark water(Simon) I loved the names you gave them.
Soon the dark water
Came flowing down the mountain
I liked that part alot too

This was GREAT! Very compelling, and very good imagery. (and yes, LOTF is a very disturbing book!) Great poem.

Oh! Are you in Brit Lit, too? Because that book absolutely ROCKED! And that poem was absolutely AWESOME! Great job... I think I'll do some Lord of the Flies fanfiction soon... Again, great poem.
