Nice story. I like the way the others have strong notions. And interesting ideas for Rastaban's role in this fic. Through I am not sure what you are leading to with it. I also like your pacing.

This is, on the whole, pretty well-crafted. It takes a lot of effort and work to write even a very short story, and you have done a nice job.

The jumps in the tense, however (from past-tense "She walked," "He remained" to present-tense "She is," "He says"), can be /very/ distracting, and might be something to work on. Past-tense is usually preferred in fiction, since present-tense is very difficult even for very experienced writers.

That said, you seem to have a pretty good ear for dialogue - which is a tricky thing for many people.

Other than the grammatical difficulties, which can certainly be fixed, not bad!

A gorgeous, romantic tale with strange but funny interludes as Muse and Writer comment. Very sweet and powerful.
