| oxoxEnchantedxoxo 2008-07-28 ch 38, | abuseThat. Was. Totally. AWESOME! This is one of the best-maybe THE best-stories that I've ever read! The plot and all the details are written so well and it's just AMAZING! You should really write a book...:) |
| Ai Kisugi 2008-07-18 ch 38, | abuseWow! Bravo! Very well written! I hope to read more of your works in the future. Also, one of the songs you had for your choral concert in this story we used in our wedding. (What is a Youth? Love Theme from the 1968 film 'Romeo and Juliet') We had an opera singer sing it before the wedding began. It is still a beautiful piece. Again, thanks for the wonderful story |

| god's child 2008-06-10 ch 38, anon. | abuseThis was an amazing story and very believable. My class was just learning about the scandal that was taking place in England with King Henry VI. I will also proudly say i am a christian and love how you made faith important. It really comes down to how much you believe in the end because none of us will come out alive in the end. We will all go to the kingdom of heaven and be judged. This story was captivating and i enjoyed reading every minute of it. Although I feel the readers had to wait too long to get any fluff. Along with sometimes it felt that certain chapters were dragging and dull. I hope I have given you some good insight and support for I really enjoyed this. Keep writing! God Bless! |
| Kougas numba1 fan 2008-05-10 ch 20, | abuselove this story to death!! funny.. ive read it like 5 times already yet i am re reading it as of now! love it that much still has teh same affect on me..♥♥ |
| brakken 2008-04-10 ch 38, | abuseI can hardly believe it's over. I don't even know what I should write; there were so many things in this story I admired, so many that tore me apart, so many that seemed just plain excessive. On the overall, a wonderful job writing it, and seeing it all through. It takes dedication to complete such a project, and you deserve recognition for that. I did enjoy it, very much, (witnessed by my repeated failures to stop reading it, despite all the pain involved). I don't regret reading this, as I though I would at some points. I hope my honesty does not make you think I think badly of this piece, because I do not; I am merely a perfectionist, impossible to please, especially when history or romance is involved, as they are both such passions of mine. This story ranks higher than the vast majority I've read, and I commend your pen. Very well done. |
| brakken 2008-04-10 ch 37, | abuseNice character development with Kagome in the beginning, and you have to love the forthrightness (and obvious wisdom) of children; that was one of the aspects of Shippou's character that I always loved the most. For all that on occasion he can be hurtful with his frankness, he usually is merely stating the truth, and with so many couples blind and in desperate need of things spelled out for them, his presence is a welcome one. They might be blushing and embarrassed, but in the end his comment has done more good than harm. |
| brakken 2008-04-10 ch 36, | abusePowerfully sad, with all the necessary despair and loneliness and anger and bitterness-but still with that little spark of hope through it all, braving the storm of suffering. Very well done. |
| brakken 2008-04-10 ch 35, | abuseVery touching. I found Kagome's confession to and search for comfort from the monk the most moving of all, for even if the ending was quite sincere, and sad, the words of the priest do not simply apply to this story; they are words of wisdom for humanity, through the ages, across all faiths. |
| brakken 2008-04-10 ch 34, | abuseYes! A proper cliffhanger for a drama at last. I apologize if there is one in the earlier chapters, but to be frank, I don't remember one. And even this one is tainted by all that has already been said, especially all the little hints and regrets of the older Kagome supposedly writing all of this. At first it seemed she died by being declared guilty, but now...It is obviously this sickness (possibly tuberculosis? She was coughing blood...)that will seal her fate. Thanks for the fluff, and the expert handling of Inuyasha's confession. It's difficult with him, as he is so prone to fout-in-mouth-itis (or rather, foot-shoved-down-throat-up-to-the-knee-itis) and he's so insecure to begin with...But you kept it in character despite that. Nice. |
| brakken 2008-04-10 ch 33, | abuseThat was magnificent testimony, and I applaud your pen. I can't begin to imagine the fury Inuyasha now feels though...She did exactly what he'd been trying so desperately to prevent; she put herself in danger, practically threw herself in front of the raised ax. The dialog between Inuyasha and Kagome is always so meaningful and insightful as well, you have such a grasp of their insecurities and assurances, their flaws and strengths. It's quite remarkable. |
| brakken 2008-04-09 ch 32, | abuseI really like the metaphor of the last paragraph. It says a lot about their relationship, in a way that's difficult to express otherwise. Nice insight. |
| brakken 2008-04-09 ch 31, | abuseOK...History discrepancies again...The guillotine wasn't invented until just before the French Revolution (hence its popularity and association with that time), cerca 1789. This story is set in the 1500s, and thus the reference is more than a century off... Moving on...Great chapter in general. I really enjoyed Kikyou's point of view, and I couldn't help my giggles during Kagome's persuasion of Miroku...It was just amusing to imagine the face he must have been wearing, and even more so to picture Inuyasha when he finds out...Hehehe...Yes I'm a sadist I realize. Thank you for giving myself and my fellow sadists some good material and inspiration though. |
