To Kill A Mockingbird is one of my favorite books of all time. This is a great interpetation of Atticus reading to Scout and Jem. This skit is hilarious!

More.. That was neat - no one was OOC, especially Jem. I only wish they'd debated if it was really a 'piece of Heaven'- it would be cool to see their PoVs on that. There should be more of TKaM fics! Blair

This story is good, I think. You could lengthen the conversation, and maybe talk about different articles in the newspaper-is the paper "The Mobile Register"? It's a very good representation of country newspapers in those times, and I love how Jem and Scout ask questions-it shows their intelligence and imagination-about what happened at the Cunninghams. It seems very realistic to me. Are you going to do a few regular conversations about things that Scout, Jem and Atticus do together, please do.

Wha ha! Cool skit Virgo... but I still am leary about Jem calling Scout a "dolt." That may suggest a bit of British influence. I didn't see much of that in TKAMB.
