Liked the way you grasped the twist of the characters, the thin line between love and hate, attraction and despise. And the idea that they actually need each other coz they are all they got left to one another - excellent! Lots of violence in your fic though and sometimes I wonder how they can actually have sex after all the beating and torturing they have to endure. Nina getting raped - well, that was a tough one, but brave to go through with. The only thing I really didn't like was the ending, as far as Nina is concerned. Not because she died but the way she did. You know it yourself: Her one diretive and priority is always survival! So what could she gain from waving around with a gun in that situation? I think she would be smarter than that and rather taking the risk of trusting Jack or going to prison than getting killed right there on the spot. And she can't seriously see a chance to get out by using her gun, outnumbered like that. So that's an inconsistency I think. :( Otherwise I enjoyed my reading. Thank you. |
