One should assume, I think, that since fanfic writers are amateurs they shouldn't be held to the same obligation to perform exhaustive research as professionals. Um, sorry to mention a plot spoiler in a review, but it seems natural here: In this AU story, Conan and Kid had never met before, right? I'm only asking this because of the third (I think) Detective Conan movie. By the way, Mitch's Japanese name (if you're still interested) is Mitsuhiko. Keep up the good work! |

I'm really looking forward to their interaction. ^^ As for the issue of dubbed names- I'm a bit of a purist myself, but if the fic is well written enough, then it doesn't really matter. However, I'll admit that the name "Jimmy" still causes periodic shudders. Anyways... I like what you've written so far, so keep up the good work! |

I'm looking forward to where your going with this.nd I don't mind about the unversity bit but if your curious, I remember reading a bit about universities in Japan, that things were easier even though the placement exams were tough. About Jimmy's/Shinichi's courses, he'd probably take courses like advanced logic, criminal psych., some law I suppose. I don't, however, know what Kaito would take considering that he probably wants to be a magician. |
