That was a great read. I'm a Kitty Pryde fan and I realy like what you did with this story, wonderful characterization and in depth look into a young Xman's point of view of college-age 'normalcy'. A fave :)

Oh and I can just imagine a young 18 year old girl with curls walking down a busy street between a large Russian body-builder type and a man heavily clothed with two glowing eyes beneath the shadow of a hat. Relatively normal, I'd say ;)

*Giggles* I like it. Kitty striving for a bit of normalcy has always captured my interest.

Great story. Its sorta odd seeing someone who has many adventers such as Kitty being with the X-Men wanted to be what she would percieve as normal . Shodowcat rocks.

Poor Kitty! I can totally relate to her.. not that I'm a mutant ;) But my life is far from normal! Good story :) Now I'm going to go and sulk, lol.

Sometimes, we get the urge to do things we don't nomrally do. I understand Kitty's POV and applaud her for it. It shows that their is the possibility of life OUTSIDE being a member of the X-Men or Excalibur.
