really brilliant story. written like the real thing, all the facts are right and i enjoyed the stolen cups, which fitted in with them being mentiong in the hp books. i dont think i've come across a better written fanfiction. thanks for creaiting this.

Oh my goodness.

This is perhaps the best thing I've ever read. You are so tallented, and I'm so happy I read this. Superb writing! You feel sorry for Severus at many times in the story, and I'm so sad there aren't any more sories about Severus. I think I speak for a lot of people who read this story that it would be a shame if there wasn't a second year story for Severus, Lily and James' gang. I would really like to read some more of the events in Severus' childhood.

god! i love it. might be the third time i read that fic and I'm still amazed by how u managed with it. the characters behave the exact same way than in the book, the way they feel, think, act, it's totally the same. And I love the way you write .A pity you didn't continue tho.

I am so grateful that you wrote this! I love the character Snape, from the beginning (not like these people who have converted after having proof) and guessed before the seventh book that he loved Lily. I love everything to do with his story, but I just cannot read fanfics regarding him that don't stick to the facts (lol, meaning what Jo wrote). From this first chapter, this is perfect, because its well written, coexists with the real story line flawlessly and is completed! I'm so excited, a thousand times thank you. :) You've earned, yet another I'm sure, loyal fan.

I love the way you portray Lucius. It's just how I imagined him, although I would have thought that Bella would have had more control over him.

Sevvy-pants is amazing too! Begrudged that he has to run errands for Lucius, but does them anyway becuase he wants to be in his good books. WELL DONE!

Moving on. Great first chapter! Must have been hard. I loved the way you put Snape's Memory into Snape's point of view rather then Harry's in DH. Well done. Well, must read on!

You said the plot was a bit weak, well I don't think it's really important cos the whole story is about severus's life, how he behaves, what are his relations with lily, the marauders and the death eaters...

Yay! It's done, and quite enjoyable. *shakes fist at Potter and his gang* I can see why Snape was angry at them.

I can also see Lily as being the sort to not forgive Snape's use of the word mudblood after her behaviors in this fic. *shakes fist at her too*
