I just want to say that at the moment you are my fave writer, especially for spuffy, but that was just plain evil. i thought i was gonna cry when it turned out to be a dream, but i didnt. honestly. ;)

Amazing. You have so much talent! This fic is both moving and funny. I loved after Buffy removes the sacred amulet, with so much meaning, and:
"What did you bloody do that for?! That was my...my..." Spike stammered.
So hilarious! And the "supernatural pancakes" was so funny! I loved how you managed to lighten the mood but still keep with the overall sombre, dramatic tone of the story. It takes a really talented writer to be able to keep those two elements in such expert balance as you have done. But my favorite line may be:
She looked beautiful, much more so than she usually saw when she ooked in the
mirror. Must have been what Spike saw when he looked at her.
That almost made me cry, because it's so true. Other people have tried to capture Buffy and Spike's feelings for one another, and you captured it in two brief, beautiful sentences. Thanks for that.

I have read a lot of one-shots in my short life, but I don't think that any fic has given me the pause that yours did. It is one of the most moving fics I have ever read. I thought the fic was fantastic when I believed Spike would die. Then I believed they would make it, and I loved the fic even more. But that ending...it was so poignantly written, that you captured Spike's feelings and his words and blended them with Buffy's...that was so beautiful, pure genius. I honestly cannot express how phenomenal this fic is...I am just sitting in front of the computer, with an open-mouth and no way to describe my awe. All I can say is: If I didn't know better, and Joss was directing a sequel to "Chosen," I would honestly have thought he wrote this. It's that good. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent. Never, ever stop writing.

lovely! every night - so well written and exactly how Buffy should feel.

A very nice twist on Spike's words. I love the adaptation. I've read many a post-Chosen story, and for all it's brevity, this is quick, witty, and gets the idea across. Nicely done.
