Aw, Jack, don't feel so down. You'll get to see your Lizzie as a full-out pirate soon enough and then get the best kiss of your life. I adore this pairing and have my own fics of them. These are very telling and I like the early stages of their relationship.

You're a SPARRABETHER! Holy crap, I think I'm in love with you! These are so good, so subtle, so awkward like little inkling feelings are supposed to be. I like the wording you have that Jack means to evade her but one look in her eyes and he tells the truth. I always knew she had that kind of hold over him without ever knowing it.
