wendiferously 2009-11-14 . chapter 10I'm so glad I found this story again. I don't remember when, but I started reading it while it had only a few chapters, and so today I chewed through the rest of them. I just want you to know how WONDERFUL this story is. Also. I trust you with Snape! |
Izzie13 2009-10-30 . chapter 10 I have just discovered your story and I beg you to update! It is so moving, your characters are so genuine I'm at a loss of words. The suspense is killing me! I have loved your newest story Silver doe (I do hope there's a sequel. You have left so many things unsaid) and I'm thrilled to see that you haven't given up writting. |
zuse 2009-10-29 . chapter 10Another beautiful story. I should have known that you were a Sherlock Holmes/Mary Russell person too. I'm glad I'm not alone.
On that note... you want to finish all your stories. :) Forget exams and rounds! |
Ebony and Bronz 2009-10-15 . chapter 9So, heart wrenching... please write more. |
cutemara 2009-10-09 . chapter 10Oh no! What a place to stop! I hope med school is going well for you...I know it's busy (personal experience) but please when you find time and energy, do update! :) |
Nikkalmati 2009-10-06 . chapter 7 So glad to have found you again and so much story too! Now I'm going to go away and cry. |
 FaeryKitten214 2009-09-24 . chapter 10Please, oh please, update! |
Strega Triss 2009-09-23 . chapter 10You can't possibly leave this wonderful story at such a cliff-hanger! Please please continue it. You are an amazing writer, I've enjoyed every moment of this story. Please update soon:-) |
NS 2009-08-16 . chapter 10 I get hell for saying this all the time, but darned if I can stand Shakespeare. I'll admit some (many) of his words are BEAUTIFUL...but I've always resented the popular, and Shakespeare is nothing if not popular.
I think Hermione has been much too incautious throughout the fic. Congratulations, you've kept her in-character. :D (Did I need that hypen? I tend to over-hyphenate. Forgive me, it's late.)
That chapter was DELIGHTFUL, and I commend you for actually having an ending in sight. Some authors like to drag out their stories FOREVER and it's ever-so-annoying. Like, let the story end. Please. Thankfully that's not a problem with you. Your story has direction, focus, and a well-developed (hypen??) plot. Well done!
Thank you for sharing this poignant story with us all, and I hope that you have no trouble writing the last few chapters. Also hope you're well in Real Life. You are a talented and precise writer (meaning you pay close attention to details and seem to actually READ your work before you post it unlike most fanfic authors) and I appreciate it!
Just between you and me...I certainly teared up a few times while reading your story. :) Shh, don't tell! |
NS 2009-08-16 . chapter 9 I had forgotten (when criticizing Hermione for being mean to my favorite, Snape) that the marriage was not pleasant for either party at first. Snape was (kind of) cruel. I overlooked that because, well, he's my favorite!
I like how the story is coming together and the relationship is developing very naturally.
Hermione is still a bit...emotional for my tastes. Yuck. It's probably because I see my own ridiculous insecurities reflected in hers. How appalling! |
NS 2009-08-16 . chapter 8 Ach, this is so dramatic! Why can't they simply SAY what they FEEL and be done with it? For instance, is it really so difficult for Snape to say, 'Why, dear me, my head is in quite a bit of pain! Could I have something for that?' No, he just insists on yelling at his poor, pathetic wife.
...but if they behaved as sensible adults, there would be no story.
Perhaps they would be better off if they got to know each other before trying to behave as husband and wife.
Hermione is awfully thin-skinned sometimes. Is it her youth, I wonder? She was always rather sensitive to Snape's comments in the books as well. Hm.
I love the marriage scene. The parallels between the wedding and a funeral procession were brilliant! |
NS 2009-08-16 . chapter 7 Why would anyone be offended by Snape and Hermione being Catholic? Even if you are projecting your religion on them, it's really your choice as an author. Besides, it's not as though it has some strongly negative effect on the story.
Perhaps it's because I believe in religion that I find it strange for some people to be so hateful towards all things spiritual... |
 NS 2009-08-16 . chapter 6 That DISGUSTING, WORTHLESS ** of a girl.
How DARE she cheat? I am so angry. I was hoping he was mistaken about her. |
oddmentandtweak 2009-08-01 . chapter 10What a cruel place to leave your readers! This fic is most definitely abandoned.. boo. Very interesting way of telling the story though. |
Nilakshna 2009-06-24 . chapter 8Your story is AMAZING! There are hardly a few words that can describe the way I am sucked into the story! It's as if I am standing there and seeing all this from a third person's POV! PLEASE continue writing this. Even if nobody else reads you will be sure of one person who would be delighted to know the end and your wonderful storytelling! |
