That was a pretty good explaination of how Shadow's in the game. I prefer to believe that one you play as is the real one and not some robot. With that said, can't wait til the next chapter.

So you believe that the Shadow in the pod at the start of Sonic Heroes is the real Shadow, and the rest are clones by his DNA? What about the fact that Omega scanned a robot? Have you considered the Shadow robot team dark find at the end of egg albatross?

Shadow did not burn up on re-entry. This is a fact and I'll say again why it's fact if you want. (NB I'm not saying he didn't die I'm saying he didn't die from burn up on re-entry).

Also I didn't like the name "West Station Square". I would've used the name "Grand Metropolis", the name given by Sonic Team. Then again there is no evidence against it being Station Square either.

You have done well to do Sonic Heroes from Metal's perspective. I'm really liking this fic and I hope you finish it (unlike some of the fics in my favourites that just seemed to have been abandoned).

I finish by asking why people don't identify who says what? Sometimes it isn't obvious. I noticed during the Dark/Chaotix fight Omega and Shadow go after Rouge. There's two lines of speech and I can't tell who says what. It's not just you it's everybody it seems. It doesn't hurt to add "Said Shadow", or "Said Omega" after each line of speech.

Hi, this is A Critical Sonic Fan. Yes, the same one from Master Hunter's horrible tale of Out of Charactors and misused Author's Liberties. However, this review is quite different from my previous one. This story... I stand in awe at your ability to be so convincing with charactors you barely get to know. I found myself looking over the small grammar errors, because I was so engrossed in this tale. I can imagine each charactor saying or doing each of these things! PS: I especially loved your explaination of Shadow's reapearance, and the fight scenes. Update soon!

Well... this chapter is a bit of a dissapointment (I'm not trying to offend you). I didn't like the way you let the readers know who was saying what. It just doesn't sound right. Keep going though, you're still doing good!

Heh. Not bad so far. I finally decided to take a look at this after a pretty long time of working with my own fics. It's cool to see some kind of back story that tries to explain how our favorite robot fit into Sonic Heroes.

One thing that struck me as weird in the earlier chapters was when you had Metal Sonic smirk. If memory serves, he doesn't even have a mouth. Of course, it's forgivable in this chapter since he transformed himself to look like Dr. Robotnik.

Again, not a bad fic so far. Hope ya update soon.

All right, first of all, I like what you are doing right now, but some parts seem a bit rushed and things are happening too fast in some parts, which makes it confusing for me to read, but I'm still keeping up with it.
