wow. this was...i'm not sure what words to put to it. i'm commenting because i feel i shouldn't fav without saying something, but i don't know what i can. i know the story of the tin soldier, mostly. i haven't read it, but i've heard versions of it. this was a great little piece; you've clearly got talent for writing. be sure to keep doing it and posting sweet little stories like this, even if they are heartbreakingly depressing.

Oh, this is really good. How you incorporate the Anderson story with Wesley's funeral is so amazing. I really love it. Are there any more parts to this story?
