adent 2008-08-18 . chapter 1 Simple and to the point, great work. Just gets you thinking on what led to the scene eh? |
everwhite 2006-11-30 . chapter 1I'm so impressed by this. Never could have seen that coming! |
Zealythe 2006-05-20 . chapter 1omg... 'tear' very touching... fav'ed. short but awesome. kinda curious, though... what was Reno doing while she was saying all of this? |
Illegally Tifa 2006-02-06 . chapter 1Oh, wow. I did not expect that kiss at the end. XD Very nice. |
 Tsubacci 2005-12-05 . chapter 1Nice...^^ |
Nando the RPS King 2005-10-19 . chapter 1Excellent work. |
D-chi 2005-09-11 . chapter 1Aw, this was nice. Even without background info on the story, it was tanto fuzzy. ^_^ |
Sakura-Angel2 2004-10-23 . chapter 1Hmm very nice drabble. And a very nice ending to it as well. It's so nice to see little original scenarios coming from extremely talented writers, makes me feel warm inside =D |
Collarander the Unicorn 2004-10-12 . chapter 1Wow, that was a really effective piece of writing. Even though it was short, it said so many things in those few words. |
Verdot 2004-10-11 . chapter 1Well, this lj challenge has been producing some lovely results...yours is no exception. I LOVE heavy dialog...such a good scene with so few words.
I hope you do the background some day...

cobalt dragonfly 2004-10-10 . chapter 1Very nice, Jess. I loved how you came full circle at the end, bringing the first line back in. And the dichotomy of laughing/crying is just beautiful! Just like Reno to fix everything with a kiss...*sigh* |
The Highwaywoman 2004-10-10 . chapter 1 Wow... I never actually read something this short that I actually liked. Very nice indeed. I didn't expect Reno to do that, but actually make a clever comeback like he always does in fics... Glomps him good. This inspires more out of a Turk tale of mine... |
Heather Cat 2004-10-10 . chapter 1This is... amazing. It's short, alludes to so much, and with simple, punctuated description manages not only to be beautiful but to evoke an awful lot. You're really going to have to let me in on how you do it, one of these days. I'm not even sure what it was about this, but it made me catch my breath. Every sentence was perfect, and I have a weakness for drabbles of any sort. Really, all I can tell you is that is was simply. amazing. |
Tijuana Pirate 2004-10-10 . chapter 1Hey Jess Angel.
Heh heh heh... where is all this Reno/Elena coming from? I love it! I'm not biased at all *wink*. Hmm, it would be a fun thing to work with, wouldn't it? Too bad you are so busy with other things though... hrmph. I loved that second last line especially. Nice touch.
Well, hopefully 'somebody' will do 'something' with this one day. Until then, I'll just enjoy this little drabble as it is. *grin*

Reno Spiegel 2004-10-10 . chapter 1A bit of drabble before the review, because I've not reviewed anything since Nighty's fic in January:
Thank you.
I was having a ** weekend. I really was. Three of my major plans fell through and I just got my day screwed over because some jackass friend of mine thought it would be funny to say he was coming to pick me up and then go on a roadtrip with his girlfriend instead. My email server's been down for a few days -- and is holding a few eBay notices of payment, so it sucked -- but I just got into it and found your review for Open the Sky. You always manage to cheer me up and make my day worth it, you really do. Just. . .thanks for reading, because that's the best review I've ever gotten. You personally are a huge motivator for me.
Now the relevant bit:
Drabble indeed. But very intriguing drabble. I'd be very interested to see a large backstory on this. . .or write one, if you're willing to let me take the challenge up. Just lemme know in an LJ post or something. I'll see it. xD And we really need to talk more. |
