Very very well-written. Sure, I don't agree with some of the stuff(as in personal beliefs) but I still say it's very well-written. And I love the end to it. So...gentle, in a way. I think this was great! depressing stories usually cause the most thinking and reflecting, and that's important in a good story. That's why this one is so good. It also makes Edgar Alan Poe one of the best authors out there. and William Faulkner too.
