An amazing story really. I picked the story up a long time ago, but lost track of it. The detail, the subtlety and overall characters are amazing. Hope it's not dead because the story deserves an ending.

Really interesting story so far. It's really taking team 7 all their skills to look underneath the underneath just to stay alive at the moment. I hope that they can stop the assassins in time.

I wanted to thank you for writing an intelligent Naruto story. There are far to few of those around. As for aspects of the story, I only have two comments. Both positive. Far to many writers-even those whose stories are otherwise well written-make Naruto and the rest of the Ninja to powerful. Kishimoto himself fell pray to this. He screwed the pooch in many other aspects as well but that's another matter. I grew out of DBZ a long time ago and I have no desire to revisit it in the Naruto-verse. My second point goes to your use of the lesser used elemental nations and the tenuous treaties that keep the peace. It is a literary gold mine fore the Naruto fandom and yet, you are one of the few who seem to realize this. So, kudos to you my friend and I look forward to more installments.

[Beginning added after rereading what I wrote] Please read all of this before getting angry. None of it is meant to insult you in any way it's just that my thoughts are written down as I think them and so I have a tendency to babble before my point is made. Like right now. So on to what I'm thinking: I am so glad that I just started reading this story because if I had started out with it from the beginning I would have lost hope of ever seeing it finished. And that would have made me cry. So now when I look at your last author's note for this story it only makes me giggle because you promised it wouldn't take a year for you to post the next chapter. Ah, the irony amuses me. But on to what I think of the story itself: I LOVE IT! I am so used to reading stories nowadays that have a slightly smarter/stonger/mature Naruto that I forget what his true nature is like. And I love how the other authors portray him as not being a complete idiot so that when I return to the original version (like yours) I usually can't stand it. But your Naruto is like reading the original but better. He's playful, mischevious, isn't very quick witted but he isn't dumb either. He has his moments of inspiration (usually during sticky situations). I also love how you set up your entire story. Every situation and move is believable and everything has a well-built history/explination to it. It constantly has me guessing what's going to happen next. And now that I've come to the final posted chapter I'm DYING to know what's going to happen next. So right now I'm at home on my knees praying that you have the story finished and are just waiting a day or two to post it. (Hey a girl can wish right?)

Just read 10 chapters in one sitting. Great story, your action scenes are by far the most convincing I've read. Really like the mystery that seems to be developing as well
