Hah! Even being a Muraki fan, and having seen the end coming since the comment about the birds that walk on water, it was still hilarious. Kurikara made it all the better, for sure - you write him hysterically.
But, I'm inclined to disagree - Hisoka with materia would still suck. On the other hand, Hisoka with the Buster Sword would be awesome!
