why on earth would that make him suddenly more powerful that he can cast spells like thta? I really dislike these kind of cliched superpowers. imagine yourself studying piano - no matter what you will not become superb pianost over night. I think the same is with magic - you need study and hard work to archive great power.

excellent. continuing or on hiatus?

Yay! Another fic by Kevin the Great, one of my newest favourite H/D slash writers! This is another beautifully written, wonderfully exciting and overall yummy story! You always manage to take basic H/D situations and write them in totally new and original ways...how do you do this? Draco becoming a Veela by accident: never seen before!o.oI'm completely awed.
Now, about the fic. Blaise is so very much a Slytherin...perfect to balance Draco's not-so-much-Slytherin act...and now that he knows a part of Draco's little secret...wow, so many possibilities! And Draco: SO much to say about him. First: how and when did he begin being attracted to Harry(to the point that he wanted to brew a love potion!)? And his reactions to his transformation, the way he suffers through it all (when he gets angry or in Harry's presence)...how does he manage to stay so hot? Another thing that struck me (although I'm clueless as to why): Draco Malfoy is afraid (sorry: "hates") of thunderstorms? How grand! Now I've got this impossibly cute image of Draco jumping into (a startled) Harry's arms at the first sound of thunder...again: ah, the possibilities!(although my frustrating mind keeps summoning the following and not so adorable image of Harry dropping poor Draco in surprise...) But you don't make things easier for yourself with Harry's totally oblivious behaviour (even though it's very in character) although I wonder...is he going to have a clue after their little encounter(so great! so hot! so frustratingly cut off!) and the whole odd staring by Draco? Please, tell me Draco will stop being confused for a while just so he can kiss Harry senseless before putting himself together and flee (he really is a rather elusive person, isn't he?)...I can't wait to see Harry's reaction to THAT!;) As for the teachers (particularly crazy Dumbledore and sneaky Snape): they are bound to figure out something sooner or later (but more sooner than later), right? And about the Veela's charms; when are they going to show up? Will Voldemort show up at some point?(although he's not necessary) Where does the title of the story come from?(aha!I bet you weren't expecting this one!)
