Excellent Story with Great writing. But, oh how I hate the plot.

Whoah, when so many fanfics are written from the perspective of one of the main characters, I didn't see the twist coming insofar as the letter is written by someone we're not familiar with. And it's not entirely a happy tale either. But I really liked it. Short and to the point and not overly dramatic. Just dramatic enough to create a sense of urgency and loss but not enough to overwhelm us.

You have a few word mistakes;

lucid means clear and understandable, and altercation means fight or arguement. In the case of the latter, I believe you meant "Alteration."
