Every character was doing their role and doing what they should be doing and not like in the original series. My only quesion is how could you end it like that. Being a single mother must be incredibly hard for Asuka. You should write another chapter before the baby is born and have Shinji wake up. The ending you wrote, although I respect it, I don't agree with it. It makes all the stuff Asuka and Shinji did and said kinda pointless. What's the point of him loving her if he can't prove it, by holding her and other mushy stuff like that. I think another chapter will make your story really great.

aegisZero 2006-07-04 ch 3,	abuseExcellent, I'm glad you extended the story to include the extra chapter and enjoyed the changing perspective, although it did jump perspective without any signal. Your ending was very nice, not everything needs to end with the everybody is happy ending. Also Gendo's reflection was excellent on the the error of his ways and his repetence.

Facelemon 2006-04-11 ch 3,	abuseI actually thought that was a very 'fluffy' ending personally. I mean think about it; Asuka and her child are save and happy, Gendo repents his sins and stops SEELE (atleast thats what he said he'd do) and Shinji didn't die he just 'became one' with his Eva (I believe thats how Rei would put it) and even then it happened after Asuka admited her love for Shinji so its not that bad 'angst wise'. Damn I think I just spoiled the ending for those who choose to read the reviews before the story, Huh suckers I learned the hard way and so will you! Damn I need some sleep...Oh yeah good story by the way you seem to write first person AS fics quite well. Not that i'm saying you can't write any other way its just that I like the way you write your FPs. Keep up the good work mate.
Anor1772 2006-02-15 ch 3,	abuseDamn, dude. I loved the story. Simply loved it, it was, in my eyes, perfect. Since I sometimes get in a 'happy ending' mood, I can't say it's my favorite eva fanfic (sides, I don't really have one), but this one is definitely my favorite angst one. I mean, it has it all! It has the hate/love view of things; it manages to leave that hole inside, that makes you feel empty and tears at your heart; it has a good reason for the whole thing to happen (some people might doubt this point, but I feel that its more than acceptable); and GOD, the ending man, it was simply perfect. Thank you for creating such a wonderful story.
