Cool story! I love Eggman, or Robotnik as he's also known as, and I love Snively. He sounds so cool, even if I've never heard of him. Is he an OC or is he real? I love the scene where Robotnik comes out of the grave and strangles him, i just love those type of things for some odd reason. I love this story! Update update update!

"My fic doth wander." No kidding this thing is long, but I love it. It's like dipping into a boiling sauna and sinking far beneath the surface; painful, but is it ever worth it. Spend a long enough time inside a thing and see yourself begin to understand it. This isn't a story -- it's Snively. I never "got" him before reading this, and never realized how close he is to me. He tries so hard to be a great and terrible force, living in the shadow of someone who had the courage to take that necessary step over the edge in order to become just that. Something internal holds Snively back every time, and he can't ever seem to take that leap, and he ends up only mimmicking the actions of his Uncle, believing in them but shying away from the understanding, what the actions mean. He is confident until he is met with the consequences. He can't stand pain because he doesn't see that he ever deserves it, and refuses to look behind the cause of things and study the root of the problem. He's fascinated by the surface, because he sees going too deep as only more pain. Caught between bad and good, like Croissant said.
Another note, I started to read the Archie Sonic comics, and also realized that you don't really paint the freedom fighters all that different from the way they act. All complaints shall henceforth cease.
Masterful choice ending it with St John. I don't like the guy but I got a good, satisfying feeling reading his perspective, more than what I got from reading the others.
Several scenes I liked (torture sequence, Sally confronting Snively) but I can't seem to remember a lot of them. Rest assured, they were great.
So that's about it. I'd keep praising and loving you, but I'm afraid of what I might say. Onward!

This story is awesome, and the storyline is great.
If there is need for improvements in any area, you'll have to tell me which, because I can't find any. :)
I really hope for a sequel in the future.

I thought you were dead or something, before your review told me otherwise. Glad to see you're still active.

I've only read the first two chapters of this story, and am going to refrain from reading any more of it for the time being as it is the third in a series - I'll return to it after I've had a look at the first two.

However, what I -have- read so far - much like the rest of your writing - has been great. You integrate description incredibly well with dialogue to create a story that not only flows well, but captures and transports the reader. I look forward to reading the rest of this series as soon as I'm finished with this semester of university (bah).

As for some of the anonymous reviews you've received, I can only hope they are an attempt at humour. Else, I can't help but shudder at the thought of what has happened to this cursed fandom. It needs more writers like you.

You know, I didn't really like this fic. First off, who calls Eggman 'Robotnik' anymore? Another thing, no one really cares about Knothole, Sally, Snively, and all those other things because. they. are. GAY. More people whould probably like this story if you had Shadow the Hedgehog in it, iff you called Robotnik 'Eggman', if you didn't have all the people from the Sonic the Hedgehog comic in it -Well, except Sonic and Tails, of course- and if you talk about how Gay Chris Thorndyke is from Sonic X, how Rouge the Bat is a **, how Amy the Hedgehog need to die, how Big the Cat is a retard, and How Omochao the mechanical chao is stupid. Play some Sonic Adventure 2 Battle sometime, you'll see what I mean.

OMG, THIS FIC WAS GAY AS **! I REALLY DON'T LIKE THIS FIC! And who calls Eggman 'Robotnik' anymore? This is lame. How about you don't write anymore until you at least play Sonic Adventure 2 battle or play Sonic Heroes. People want fics about how Shadow is hot, and how Chris is ** gay.

Oh, cool!! So, this is what that pic of Cass, the well, and her tarpped father was based on. I LOVED this chapter. Yes, I do love Sniv/Cass 'mushiness.' XD

Man, sorry it's takimg me so long to finish this story! I'm glad class is finally over.

Again, this was an absolutely fantastic chapter. I know I always say this, but you have such a way with WORDS!! You have this amazing gift with words, it's unreal. And the way you express emotions, and set the whole mood and tone- you are also fantastic at that, to say the very least. I'm sorry, but I can't say that enough.

It seems very clear to me that your writing is derived enturely from your soul, your own heart- not just the creativitiy of the mind. In other words, you express yourself- your own thoughts and feeling, and POVs- wonderfully through your powerful writing. You are your own inspiration. And, I swear to God I'm not just saying this, but that is the greatest inspiration of all.

Oh yeah, this story's awesome! It's gotta be the second best story I've ever read. Did I say that already? I can't remember. Anyway, someday I'm gonna learn 3dstudio max, and I'm gonna make a movie out of this story.

Good story. It wasn't flashy or anything, but it was nice to read.
Good- Interesting character development (you made me like Geoffery, which is new), everything's settled at the end, perfect set up for sequel. Also... you updated! No offense, but you do seem to leave stories hanging in limbo.

Bad- the ending may have set up the next story, but it was still kind of... lackluster, I guess, with Geoffery and all. I kept expecting Robotnik to pop up again, but he didn't, so no zombie action= bad.

That's it.

Very cool story! I can't wait for the next.
