 CSIMel 2007-01-01 . chapter 1Truly powerful.
I love these 'five things that never happened' fics, they work well in any fandom.
Gives the reader a perspective that things could've been a heck of a lot worse, making us thankful they turned outthe way they did.
Good job with this, simple yet powerful. |
Soledad 2006-11-12 . chapter 1 Aw, how comes that I never saw this one? Fantastic little drawings! |
 Aurora West 2006-11-01 . chapter 1Beautiful. Thanks! |
Valiowk 2006-03-28 . chapter 1This is truly a magnificent gem. I'm not sure if you had intended for us to rejoice that these events never happened to Faramir and Éowyn, but after reading it, I cannot help but feel that Faramir and Éowyn, and indeed Men and elves and dwarves alike, were so fortunate that Sauron was destroyed. Indeed, when reading LotR, it isn't clear at all that courage will be rewarded, effort will bear fruit and that the Shadow will be vanquished. Thank you for making me appreciate the ending of LotR even more. |
 Anna Denethorion 2005-10-09 . chapter 1Very imaginative. I liked #4. |
Starbrat 2005-09-02 . chapter 1Very well written. That last one really cut to the heart. |
Shandris 2005-07-02 . chapter 1^^ It's just...oh, I'm speechless, It's lovely, really! One of my very favouryties stories! Touching, a little sad, but absolutly wonderful! |
Nesta 2005-06-28 . chapter 1 Fetch me a bucket for the tears. Handkerchief not enough, have to wring it out again and agin like Mr Tumnus in The LW&W.
Thank God these things never happened. Each of them is a gem, but they make me miserable... |
 Celebne 2005-01-14 . chapter 1Hi Altariel!
I am a great fan of Faramir. I have just read your drabbles in the german translation, because my English is not good enough to read your stories in original. And I must say: I love your stories very much!
Greetings

shie1dmaidenofrohan 2004-10-25 . chapter 1Wow. You say so much in so few words. I'm not sure which one makes me the saddest, probably either 3 or 5, but I'm really glad that none of these ever happened. |
Fair-Ithil 2004-10-24 . chapter 1Oh these were all beautiful. My favorites were three and five because they're so heart breaking in such different ways.
"Fair she was; fairer than all the flowers and maidens of Gondor; lovely and blissful; the Queen of Gondor...And ever he stands besides them - faithful and loving their servant."
"Hope failed them; it left never to return. The sky blackened, the walls fell; all that was green has rotten and all that was lovely is ruined...and in his heart he keeps the memory of her standing tall and fair and proud upon the walls of the long-ruined city of his fathers. And still he cannot despair." |
