GOOD Story. Really good. Great plot twist(s) and a killer ending (no pun intended.) Nice insight into the characters and how they interact, esp. Sara's mentoring of Greg, which I've always liked.

Fantastic story!! I realize I hadn't read a casefile fic in AGES!! And yours was definitely worth the fact that it's...2:30am now. I just couldn't stop reading. Your characterization was awesome, the cases were really, really good, and OH, that was just FUN XD I had to muffled my laughter in my pillow too many time, other people are trying to sleep in the house :D

Hey. I've been reading you old CSI fanfics. I LOVE them. I don't know whether you are still around, but I wish you would write some new fics. In any case, I love your writings.

Wicked!! wow, I like this, the cat kil;led the guy who killed all those girls. I think maybe there should maybe be a bit more details? i don't know What I do know it that I hope you keep writing. -J

Your writing is always great, and this story is no exception! One minor nitpick: Holly didn't die immediately. She actually hung on in a coma until episode 2, after Sara got there. But of course that nitpick is more than made up for by the wonderful realism your forensics training allows you to provide. I never knew RFLP is slower than PCR!

Your talent always impresses me. This was a great story. I hope you'll be sharing more with us soon.

I was very impressed by the work you did with Mossley in "Tortured Reasoning", and I have to say you do not disappoint as a stand alone writer. This story is very well-thought out and executed. The case is interesting and believable. The characters are captured perfectly, and their behavior is spot-on.

Although I do wonder why you broke the story into chapters, but you did not post them that way. That's a minor point, though, so don't be concerned about it.

I feel bad about this. Read this fic ages ago but I was so overwhelmed by it, I couldn't bring myself to write anything remotely coherent. Your fics often have that effect on me... I would've done (almost) anything to have someone as gifted as you with handling the geeks on the CSI writing staff. Your undeniable skill as a writer aside, you always manage to weave a captivating story and still somehow keep those characters we all know and love totally in character. I especially loved the main role Sara had in this one. Something that's been lacking in the show for so long . I've heard you find it impossible these days to write anything more than friendship with our geeks, and I see where this is coming from, but in this creation everything comes out believable and makes perfect sense. And I did sense a lot more than friendship, dare I say even a step in a much more intimate direction. I'm rambling, sorry. This review certainly doesn't do justice with your awesome fic.
I just wanted to thank you for sharing, let you know you're one of my favourite authors and BEG you to write more. Friendship will be nice, UST/RST will be much appreciated - but whatever you write, I will cherish.

Amazing as always. Engrossing casefiles with such in depth detail that I thought I was watching an actual episode. Very clever twist with the cat but I would expect nothing less from your brilliant mind, Burked! :-) Love how you write these characters especially the Greg/Sara mentorship here and the hints of G/S are definitely icing. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more.

That was great. Do you think CBS would consider using this for an episode? It was really well written and the characters were pretty much dead on. And the cosmic irony was just icing on the cake. Keep up the good work.
