I really enjoyed this story. I like AU settings where Ross and Rachel meet each other at younger ages. While I enjoy the way the show played out their relationship, I think there's something more realistic about the couple wading through their coming-of-age issues at a younger age rather than at 34 like the actual show.

I love how you preserve Ross and Rachel's characterization in an AU environment. I've noticed this in all your stories and it consistently impresses me.

I really liked Carver and Erica in this story. We had 10 years to explore Ross's and Rachel's relationships with Monica, Joey, Chandler, and Phoebe; it's always a relief to see a relationship with someone else explored. I think the two (Erica and Carver) were designed in a way that a reader could really identify. I think most of us know people like those two and it made them easier to visualize and enjoy.

It's too bad this is over, but I'm really looking forward to your next story. Thanks for another gripping read.

Great story, great imagery, wonderful writing. However, I was confused in Chapter 10: when Ross wakes up the next morning, he's in Rachel's apartment, but in chapter 9 they went to sleep at Ross'.
