You place a lot more emphasis on Zina's personal indecision than the one she's planted in because of her duality of culture. Yes, the issue is mentioned, but it seems peripheral, almost as though it's something Zina latches onto to try and explain her own indecision. I don't know if this is what you were trying for, though. If it's not, you might want to delve more into that issue, though I'm not sure how, only that it seems like a secondary theme, to me. |
