How did I manage to read this and then FORGET to review? Bah. I'm dumb.

This was a fantastic story, ripe with possibilities between Patty and Gene, as well as a MUCH better wrap up to the movie than the movie itself.

Kudos on that score.

It was very well paced, fantastically written and flawless grammatically and spelling-wise (as far as I could tell). A great read, with wit and pop. (Gee..am I starting to sound like a weird movie/book reviewer? I hope not...hehe)

I particularly loved the single word epithets that were explained in greater detail by exposition, rather than in the dialogue. That was a particularly neat trick.

Finally got to come back and finish this today! This was so well-done (have I mentioned how I envy people who can plot?) and I like that it was left a bit open-ended. Even if you never do a sequel, we can all imagine our own (you know, the one in which Gene and Patty get together...)

good ending i liked it...i know have the urge to watch the movie(the first time i watched it it was only the first half at 2:00 in the morning, then i watched the rest later.) Well g2g and happy writing!!

Two good giggles and a warm fuzzy--and it could just picture the expression on Gene's face when it dawned on him that Patty had an ulterior motive. Darn, if these two do hook up, can you imagine somebody asking: "So how did you guys meet?" What a conversational firecracker that would be!

This was a solid police procedural without being overwhelmed by jargon. Patty was a fun charecter--I suspect quite a few readers wouldn't mind being on her beat at the moment. Although if he's like most guys, shopping is going to be An Experience. Her best bet is to get on Lynn's good side.

I enjoyed this very much, and I hope you'll undertake one of the nifty projects you've mentioned. Soon.

Hi! Well, that was a surprise this morning! Finding another chapter so soon. But it's sad that it's the last one. This is a wonderful story and I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks a lot for writing it.
