So very adorable. And original! I'm really surprised (no offense), because I've seen several of this kind of story, sections from the book told from another's perspective, and they're typically Grade-A crap. No joke. But this one's so sweet and well-thought out.

Despite the fact we already know the basics of what happens, you do an amazing job of making it... new. Fresh. Original (I already pointed that out, but to make something original within such massively strict guidelines? Truly impressive). I haven't gone to your profile to see what else you've written, but I so *desperately* hope you continue writing (and write a lot).

You're quite right, Michael did help Ginny start to have a new perspective, although, I don't believe that she ever got over Harry. I will agree with you that they will be together in the end.. if you can believe it, the fact didn't hit me like a ton of bricks until I started reading fanfiction :P

Nice chapter, I liked the whole ordeal at the beginning, and nice job writing Neville and Ginny during the ball!

Hmm...I love Ginny and Harry together, but I think that they won't get together while they're at Hogwarts. I think they'll have a lot of moments that make it obvious (for us) that they like each other...but i think Harry might be busy (just a little bit...lol) and he might be concerned about the well being of his loved ones (especially after Sirius...*sigh* loved that dude)...but you know what? I'd absolutely LOVE it if they got together during Hogwarts. That would be awesome.

ANYWAYS, back to your fic. This is really good. I like this fic because you can see how Ginny grows up, becomes more mature and her relatinships before harry. Good job and keep it up!
