When they killed themselves, I really cried. Is there any way that they could be replaced? If you think of it as a coma-well, people have healed from such things. Can they?

Hi - it's me again! A while ago I submitted a review under the name Writer, well, now I have a pen name! I love your story - I've showed it to a lot of people, too, and they also really like it! You are such a good writer!

This fic is really fantastic so far, I'm glad I had the time to read through it all to catch up, plus the extra chapter on deviantArt ^^. The writing is very sophisticated, and I think you captured all the characters extremely well. A few things that really make your fic a cut above the rest:

Bringing Curt Connors in. Everyone seems to forget that he was friends with Octavius. He just seems to fade into the background. I wasn't aware that he was Rosie's brother, but I really enjoyed his describing Octavius as he knew him, that's one of my favorite parts so far.

Harry's motivation for all his rampant foolishness- ghoulishness? Ew, is that a pun? If you bend your mind to something resembling Harry's current angle, once the shivering stops you realize it is very plausible that that's how his brain might be functioning after the revelation of Peter's secret. Creepy, but fascinating.

Removing the actuators. Firstly, it was a very touching scene, nice job on that. Secondly, that's a move very few authors seem willing to take in their Ock-fics, so I congratulate you for that. Although I will admit to a little disappointment- it also seems like several fics come *that* close to making Doc Ock a superhero, but never quite make it. I would have liked to see him develop this new persona as a hero. And plus, the actuators' growing personalities were so precious ^^. You explained their development very well.

Okay, that's all for now. I'm actually off to review "Unreasonable Addicton" ^^. Quick question, though- I'm not a deviantArt member, so I can't review any chapters you upload onto that site if you don't upload them onto this site as well. Is it okay if I email you those reviews?

I first read this story over on DA, and fell in love with it. So I *had* to come over to and give it five stars, two thumbs up, and whatever other accolades I can think up. I love your explaination of how Otto survives being boiled alive and drowning, very clever. Poor guy though, losing his actuators. Does he get them back? Ahh... we shall see, eh. One thing--now that the actuators are not there to block the pain from the burns, wouldn't he be a quivering mass of ouchies? Aw, Otto. Anyway, looking forward to another chapter. :D

I enjoyed reading this, though I think you should have split it into chapters because of the length. I admire the characterizations that you made of the actuators, and their reasoning. Very well thought out and exquisitely written.

I am wowed by your talent. You have written the single best story of Dr. Octavius that I have ever read, and you make me aspire to do the same for him in my own feeble attempt at Spider-Man fanfiction. Should you write any others, I would be your devoted reader, and seek them out!

Wow. This is really excellent. I love the modeled genres that you chose. Very nice.

Eep. I see that this was written way back in October so I don't know if you have plans to update. I hope that there is something in the works, though, as this is quite well-written and deals much more realistically with the whole post-movie world than most other fics of its kind. Also it is smoothly written and the characterizations are spot-in.

Well... I'm stunned. I had to review, but I'm not quite sure what to say.

As always, you have excellent writing and intriguing storyline. I have really enjoyed your characterization of Otto and while I'm not happy about Harry going insane, it does make since and necessary for a villain I'm sure. I also love how you brought Murdock into this, although it will be interesting to see since Spider-Man not Daredevil has been in all the papers.

I look forward to seeing this story continue and wish you luck with it.

I like the way this story started. I think that, given Otto's personality from the movie, it would be very likely that he could turn to helping people. I have one question. If the answer is no, please don't be offended. Is this story building up to a friendship and/or slash relationship between Otto and Peter? I could see either one, myself.Certainly it seemed likely that they could have been friends before the accident. As for the other, what can I say? I love the challenge of putting together unusual pairings. I hope I have not offended you with this question.

Wow... *is awed* This is an excellent fic! I hope you don't intend to end it there - not only is the cliffhanger evil, but I'm dying to know what's going to happen to the newly armless Otto.

One thing: Did you mean for Peter to tell Curt Connors that he works for the Daily Prophet?
