If you were to continue the story, I might jump ahead in the story, perhaps to after the Hunsford proposal, when Lizzy and Darcy are brooding over their feelings for each other, and they reflect back upon this moment. It's just an idea.

Wow. I actually felt like the regular story of P&P could have continued normally from this point. Fantastic. Loved a ton of Elizabeth's dialogue, and god knows that sharp, witty conversation is hell to do.

That was awesome! I love the exchange between the two.
I guess things would turn out so much better if Jane Austen were to lock them in a closet.

Love it, love it, one of the P&P fics I've read. I think it portrays Darcy's and Elizabeth's character quite well, and the kiss on the hand was so... romantic yet non-cliché.

on a different note, i absolutly love the ending sentence, '..of the odd comforts of mutual dislike.' it leaves the reader stuck in the story even when finished.

Beautiful, quite beautiful. I loved it, and you're right, it does stay faithful to Pride and Prejudice. I love your writing style, so precise and controlled, and the perfect ending. In fact, a wonderful piece altogether. I really hope you write more Darcy/Lizzie (I shall be checking your profile, lol) in the future, and perhaps another chapter for this fic. Amazing connection between the characters and realistic if slightly ridiculous (still love it) situation. Great work. Keep it up... ;)

I'd love another few chapters, the way the characters changed in this piece astounded me. Thank you for taking the time to put it out here, and *please* write more Elizabeth/Darcy- you're excellent.
