First piece I've seen with Shisui in it! It's interesting to look back in time to when we didn't know what made Itachi tick or go boom. For a moment I was expecting him to dump the body into Nakano to be "free", although the suicide note would of course then be hard to attach...

And such an innocent Shisui, too. There's material to swing this into a larger ItaShisui AU spinoff. :)

Believe me, the way that you portrayed Itachi and his personality at that point in the story is very well done and very extremely believable.

I absolutely adored your version of Shisui-he was like a piece of nature.

Probably the best aspect of this little fic that you have written magnificently to me is the interaction between Itachi and Shisui. The way that communicated was soft, poignant, and believable for the two having been best friends and yet there was something there, underneath the underneath of their relationship that I think you captured in such a wonderful way without actually giving it a name or fully bringing it out.

I absolutely love this and I dub you a very, very talented author. Kudos for writing this and thanks a million for sharing it!

Ah, UE, I missed your writing muchly. Had forgotten how beautiful it was. You've got this wonderful way with words and your talent has increased so much since those far flung days belonging to Megami Kouhosei. Before you tended to the side of overly wordy, but you've found a gorgeous balance and it's very nicely accentuated in this fic. Shishui's characterization is gorgeous and soft, he's reminding me a little of Ernest.
