Hmm. If General Hammond is ok with Jack going away with Sam (considering he surely suspects they are very attracted to each other), why are Daniel and Teal'c worried about the regs if Jack and Sam go away together. Love the line about "if the two of them ever got together he would be totally whipped," and that it didn't bother him in the least. Sweet.

Don't you think Jack is traditional enough that he would have insisted on marriage going along with moving in?

Heh...loved Jack's reaction to Sam's "little stunt", and Gwn being besotted by her after she kissed him on the head. lol...I don't think she's ever had an Asgard admirer, before ;)

You are sincerely one of my favorite writers. This was such a delight to read. No one does this type of fic any better than you. Yay for romance!

Specifically, I really liked the way you kept the suspense going with Sam's vision. The lines about how much Sam and Jack would need each other really made it hard not to skip ahead and peek at the next chapter! Some of the dialogue toward the end got a little out of character for Sam, but you really have their relationship nailed. And the part about Sam's black undies, well, brevity definitely worked and suggestion is often more descriptive then graphic details.

This series was was great!!
