I always enjoy stories about malicious mischief. I feel sorry for Shuichi, though, having to miss out on all the fun with Karasu, Kuronue and Hiei.
The part where karasu was talking to the pumpkin was as in character as a humor story with him can be.

i really like the way you have written this and the theme is so appropriate (Halloween! yeh!). The grammar is accurate and your idea is very creative (Karasu and Kuronue not returning mysteriously like in most fics; you gave the information behind it). It is just a nice story in the spirit of Halloween, good job. Reminds me a lot of my own, lol, yet it is centered around O-Bon week in Japan. Keep up the good work ^_~
