Wow! This is really good so far! I think a lot of Ranma fan fiction is either too romantic/fluffy or just badly written. This is a nice exception, though!

Yay, I'm all caught up now! And I finished just before I had to go to work, too! That was cutting it close, lol!

This chapter did seem a bit hurried, but it's the perfect setup for what's meant to happen in the last chapter, so I didn't mind. I'm really glad Ranma disappeared, and that Rei wasn't intentionally keeping that information from him. Now, I will be eagerly anticipating the resolution to this story. Yay for happy endings!! ^_^

I loved how they opened up to each other, without Rei knowing who Akane was. If she doesn't go to Ranma immediately and tell him about their conversation, she will be moved to the top of my 'characters who I hate the most' list.

And I have to say... that poem, under Empathy, was really beautiful. I loved it.

Wow! I must say, I wasn't expecting them to be so vicious to Rei. I was actually waiting for Akane to come to her rescue, since she's nice like that. And again, that just goes to show why Akane's the "true" fiancee. You wouldn't see Shampoo or Ukyo being that nice to Ranma's 'girlfriend'. Well, maybe Ukyo after she's found someone new, and given up on Ranma completely... but NEVER Shampoo. Or Kodachi for that matter.

That was really pretty. Very poetic. The entire time I was reading it, I kept seeing it in my mind like it was being sung... almost like a scene from a broadway musical. ^_^

I love how you're handling this... it isn't the typical, Ranma and Akane break-up, story. Besides, even if you love the characters, you have to make them suffer a little along the way. A story without suffering, is barely a story. And really, in the end, this is only going to strengthen their relationship. At least now they'll know that their feelings were real, and that it wasn't a product of pride or family honor.

Wow! Another great chapter.

When Ranma said, "I hate seeing you cry. YOU, okay?" my heart melted. That was so sweet. And the closing line summed Ranma's feelings perfectly: "Boy… it's really painful when your whole world crashes around you in a second." It was so simple... but very, very powerful.

And Yale?! Wow. Impressive. ^_^

ooh! I really liked this chapter. The suspense, the confrontation... and Ranma's closing line was great. I was surprised she decided to study abroad too... I didn't think she'd run THAT far away! Poor Ranma. Nabiki was right, he's going to be heartbroken.

Aww... that was cute. Ranma's so adorable when he's worrying about Akane. And I love how at the end he says he's going to look up the word ephiphany in the morning. Sadly, I'm guessing Akane will probably be gone by then, so Ranma will learn its meaning much too late.

I actually like the fact that you made Ranma befriend an 'ordinary' person... though, like Akane, I sort of thought they were dating. It could just be me... but I've never had any male friends who I'd willingly kiss if there were no feelings involved. I guess I'm like Ranma in that sense too. ;)

And Ray actually seems like a very interesting character... I like the fact that she's a lot like Akane, but that she's not madly in love with Ranma like every other character in the series. I was actually hoping they'd be dating and then his life would end up being too weird for her to handle, so they'd break up... but in hind-sight, it would have been hard to see Ranma (willingly) with someone other than Akane. So I'm glad they're not really together. :D

There were a couple small mistakes in this chapter I thought I'd point out: when referring to Mousse, you kept saying 'rob' instead of 'robe'. Rob means to steal, or take something that doesn't belong to you. A robe, however, is something someone wears.

And also, they're normally called the 'Nerima Wrecking CREW', not 'club'. Unless you were going for a new spin on the old term... :)

Anyway, another great chapter. I can't wait to see how Akane reacts to the misunderstanding!

Yay! I finally found another great story!

I love your ability to capture Ranma and Akane's feelings: the confusion, pain, and regret they feel over such an important decision. And I could actually see Akane doing this, if she felt it was for the right reasons. Even your depiction of Ryoga was spot on: being happy over the break-up one minute, and then angry with Ranma the next. After all... as P-chan, we can only GUESS what secrets Akane's been telling him! And Ranma, being clueless as ever, seems at a loss to explain his behavior. (Who says Akane's the only dense one? 8_8)

Anyway, what I've been trying to say is that everyone's been reacting in just the way I'd expect them too. And really, in fanfiction these days, that's not an easy task. ^_^

Anyway, I can't wait to read more! Poor Akane... I still can't believe Ranma was kissing someone!
