*sobs uncontrollably* Oh my, just what I needed... I love (and I mean it!) Sirius Black and I shed many tears while reading Ootp. To me, killing Sirius Black was the worst mistake Joanne K. Rowling ever made.

She took away the best person in the books so far, and I can only hope (although i know that it's invane) that she will resurrect him one day.

Beautiful. Just what Sirius's memorial should be. I like the way you began this glorious little piece, switching to each person's acquisition of their item without explanation. In many other's hands, it would have been boring, but you made it riveting. Amusing while still being sad. I love it!

Geez, that's so sweet. The fact that Sirius mattered to those who knew him, and gave him such a fitting send off. No tears, he wouldn't have wanted tears.

Oh, dear. Just when I think I'm no longer all worked up about Sirius and beginning to get over the death of a fictional character that I loved a little bit more than was healthy for a fictional character, you come along and write something like this. It was funny, instead of angsty or sentimental or tearjerky. And that makes it so much sadder.

I agree that zombie James would have been a far more appropriate sacrifice, but I personally would've killed Umbridge. I suppose that defeats the whole purpose of a heroic death, but at this point I really don't care.

Keep writing, especially stuff about Sirius or Remus- you write them both so well.

I would have caled it angst actually..even though he was just a character, Siruis...well, he WAS a friend to me..

this was really great. i love the idea of them bringing a reminder of sirius for the memorial. they were all very appropriate. good job!

Fantastic, brilliant as always. The idea of the baby tooth was just charming, original and so full of wonderfully subtle subtext that it, in and of itself, nearly made me cry.

Oh, wow. This is great. (And, as an added bonus, I've learned how to say RIP in Latin. Always good to know those sort of things.)
