woelfin-akhuna 1/31/05 . chapter 1*sobs uncontrollably* Oh my, just what I needed... I love (and I mean it!) Sirius Black and I shed many tears while reading Ootp. To me, killing Sirius Black was the worst mistake Joanne K. Rowling ever made. She took away the best person in the books so far, and I can only hope (although i know that it's invane) that she will resurrect him one day. Thank you for that wonderful story. 144 Dungbombs, a book, a tooth, a quill, a father Christmas hat and carols, extendible ears, a bag of dangerouse sweets and from me: a black leather dog collar. Requiescat in pacem. Wölfin Akhuna |
Joey Potter 1/31/05 . chapter 1Beautiful. there is no other word. Beautiful. |
account 1/17/05 . chapter 1brilliant! |
mondsuechtig 1/13/05 . chapter 1Wonderful and really touching. A wonderful idea to say goodbye. Rest in peace, Sirius. Or as we would say in Germany: Ruhe in Frieden. Thanks a lot! |
ESP 12/23/04 . chapter 1Beautiful. Just what Sirius's memorial should be. I like the way you began this glorious little piece, switching to each person's acquisition of their item without explanation. In many other's hands, it would have been boring, but you made it riveting. Amusing while still being sad. I love it! |
Kiki Cabou kcabouhotmail.com 12/20/04 . chapter 1 That was lovely. I enjoyed the gentle, humorous tone. It reminded me of Sirius. :) Bless! |
ffaddix 12/16/04 . chapter 1felt an od sense of closure with that... Rest in peace, Black, rest in peace |
jazzypom 11/14/04 . chapter 1 Not much of a review - I'm sorry- but. Geez, that's so sweet. The fact that Sirius mattered to those who knew him, and gave him such a fitting send off. No tears, he wouldn't have wanted tears. Bye Black. Thanks, you, for writing this. |
Wren Truesong 11/1/04 . chapter 1*cries with a great big grin* Oh, gods, this-! I love you now. This was -so- lovely. |
Rinnington 10/31/04 . chapter 1Oh, dear. Just when I think I'm no longer all worked up about Sirius and beginning to get over the death of a fictional character that I loved a little bit more than was healthy for a fictional character, you come along and write something like this. It was funny, instead of angsty or sentimental or tearjerky. And that makes it so much sadder. I agree that zombie James would have been a far more appropriate sacrifice, but I personally would've killed Umbridge. I suppose that defeats the whole purpose of a heroic death, but at this point I really don't care. Keep writing, especially stuff about Sirius or Remus- you write them both so well. |
aphinitea 10/31/04 . chapter 1I would have caled it angst actually..even though he was just a character, Siruis...well, he WAS a friend to me.. |
orly 10/30/04 . chapter 1this was really great. i love the idea of them bringing a reminder of sirius for the memorial. they were all very appropriate. good job! |
there goes my gun 10/30/04 . chapter 1Fantastic, brilliant as always. The idea of the baby tooth was just charming, original and so full of wonderfully subtle subtext that it, in and of itself, nearly made me cry. |
Briana Rose 10/30/04 . chapter 1Oh, wow. This is great. (And, as an added bonus, I've learned how to say RIP in Latin. Always good to know those sort of things.) |
ReviewFairy 10/30/04 . chapter 1oh geeze... I'm all choked up now and have that 'lump' in the back of my throat. But all the sadness aside, that was AWESOME! keep up the excellent work, and I'm honored to say that I was the 1st person to review this fic. Love always, The ReviewFairy |
