oh creepy and bone chilling. definitely a good read for halloween but even if it's not that time of year one can always get a good thrill over a story with descriptive flair! :D

I loved this. You really captured the moment, and I was completely intrigued the whole way through. It's an interesting scene to write about, and I also agree that having it from the POV of a nameless elf really made it the creative piece that it is. It was really creepy; great job!

This one is really good. I liked how you portrayed the whole suspense and anticipation of their ultimate deaths. Really creative.

O. That is dark and creepy. Well done, but very dark and creepy. wow. "The end of the line" would have been a good title too, as would "dark and creepy". Very detailed descriptions of the elf's feelings at being where he is and beside the guy at the end of the line. Really dark and creepy. Time to go turn on ALL the lights in the house for a while...

Why were you worrying about this being a new genre for you? This was awesome. The imagery, suspense, all excellent. One normally focuses on Finrod and Beren at this point, but making another, sadly unnamed Elf the focus is even better, and mroe heart-wrenching. Keep it up, mellon nin!
