WOW! You can actually write about being drunk and how Dax gets when drunk/tipsy/feelin' the alcohol buzz and do it well! I really like this. It's very fluffy and well-written. There's not a lot to this story but the warmth it gives and the skill with which it was written is enough to make this one a keeper. It is interesting how Tess reacted in this. As Demyrie noted, definitely more motherly. It'd be interesting to see how she got to that state and how Dax was restored to his proper form (but I don't blame you if you don't write about that.) The dialogue is awesome. I loved Daxter's floundering awkwardness as he tries to relate his feelings and how Jak picks up on it all. How Jak is concerned about him. How Dax yearns for the way things were. And the bit where he asks Jak for the time! For some reason that little piece of dialogue was so insanely cute and absolutely perfect. It's the little things that are so wonderful. You're awesome. Thanks and keep writin'. :)

I have yet to make them kiss romantically yet and its tearing me apart! ;o; SO YEAH. This just lit up my day and made me squee like a madwoman. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH and its time for me to go.
