a person 2007-06-26 . chapter 53 I love this story, it is so hilarious. Please update. Also how do you pronounce the latin back in the chapter with 'non sum pisces' et al. And David Wenham and Sean Bean should be brothers. |
 StarofElendil 2006-10-26 . chapter 1Hi!
I just finished reading your story and it is an absolute marvel. Between all the languages and all those gorgeous books and Faramir you have crafted a diamond of the first water. Nice going! |
StarofElendil 2006-10-25 . chapter 7OH! I've read the first seven and I just can't stop! What wonderful sly humor! |
ColorMeKissable 2006-07-26 . chapter 53Wow, this is by far one of my most favorite stories on this stie. |
Protector of Canon2 2006-04-09 . chapter 53Hidalgo. *snicker snicker.* I love how you keep haveing the caracters meet copies of themselves. The humor is great, and the... er... non-humor is impresive, too. About the language the Hobbits made up, did Faramir really understand, or was he just making it up as he went along? Your obbsession with "temporary" is quite amusing, as is the mixing up words. I'd like to add a vote of my own to brotherhood, (or more than one if I can) but I can't imagine the actor who played the Steward as thier real father. I loved the idea in the last chapter. Wow, a whole year. By the way, I noticed that you used neither Hebrew nor Yiddish. Could you fix that please? And give more of the two Lords? I love those people. Thanks. Faramir's love of honeycakes is great. Oh, about your insanity, don't worry, I'm nuts too! (Of coarce, you probably guessed that from the fact that I just read 53 chapters of this, but...) This is getting long, isn't it? Sorry, I just discovered the fic, so this is a review for 53 chapters. (Personally, I don't have nearly enough ideas for anything that long. Wow.) |
Standard bicycle 2006-02-19 . chapter 42 Nice fic. Of course Sean and David are brothers! You have my vote! |
Tylendal 2006-01-20 . chapter 53Nice series, very funny.
You haven't done a chapter with Hindi, have you? If you are interested I can provide you some hindi words/phrases/translations to use in a chapter.
Love Faramir, he my absolute favorite in LOTR. I haven't seen Van Helsing, so how exactly does Carl figure in it? |
i 2005-12-25 . chapter 1 Hey! I have been reading your work for a while now and I thought it might be bright for me to give you at least one review... Good work! It’s been a while since we haven’t seen Faramir's children, tough it would be nice to see them again. Oh, and one more thing... your French could use... uh.. a bit of work. I dont want to **, because I love your stories and you actually know a lot more than the 2 and a half languages than I know (so I feel stupid actually criticizing you about this, but I just want to help you), but for the french... I’m french, and generally I had to check the english translation to have any idea of what you were talking about... But at least you know more than the traditional "bon appétit", “déjà vu” and so on, so good work still. I hope you’ll keep on writing for a long time still! |
Anon. 2005-12-15 . chapter 14 This is a very nice story. Well written with few errors I can see.
However,'Bacio mi' is actually in first person, commanding one to kiss oneself. More accurately it would be, 'Bacia mi carino, t'amo'. If I remember correctly, 'bacia' is second person singular. It doens't really matter though. |
Silver Sniper 2005-11-15 . chapter 53Ah, if you could just send them along to me, that would be wonderful (my new email is in my profile), if it doesn't trouble you that is. (I had all but forgotten, I admit ^^;;) I always liked your wallpapers, they're all amazing. (Or so it would seem to someone who is incapable of making such things.) I do not mind the belated updates, for as long as you guys are updating, I am content because I know I'll be getting my dose of this masterpiece all in due time. I enjoyed this chapter very much, just like all the ones before. And just like all the ones before, it leaves me smiling and wishing I could either be so intelligent as Faramir to know so many languages, or like in this chapter, how to pick locks. It would be extremely useful for all the days I forget my housekeys -.-;; Again, wonderful job, and I cannot wait for the next one! |
lindahoyland 2005-11-11 . chapter 53I just loved the idea of poor Faramir trying to get his cakes, a good thing that Ian turned up.I can just imagine Aragorn and Eowyn deciding between them that maybe hwe was in danger of getting a little plump,in the way that healers do !
Thank you so much for your greatly appreciated reviews, I just love reading them. I have just resent an e mail with some links to Tristan und Isolde,as it is obvious it went astray. If you don't get it,please e mail me and I'll try again |
Earendil Eldar 2005-11-11 . chapter 53Locking away the honeycakes? That's almost cruelty! Poor, poor Fara', i know just how he'd feel. One can never have too much honey! It's actually incredibly good for you in fact. It is antibiotic and antiseptic and lots of other things as well. It never goes bad. You can put it on a cut as a disinfectant. The list goes on and on.
Handy that Ian is!
Anyway, good to see another chapter up. Will get back to your mail this evening. |
Lady Elbereth Tealrose 2005-11-11 . chapter 53 XD Great chapter! Haha, he picked the lock. Awesome. |
 steelelf 2005-11-11 . chapter 53 Please send?
Anyway, I LOVED this chapter- best ever! Ian is so funny! I can see it all in my minds eye... (unfortunately, I can not laugh out loud, little brats, I mean siblings are asleep!) |
Evermir 2005-10-27 . chapter 52 Hehehehe. LOVED this chapter so so much. I love the bit where they are saying about it beign going on for one year and about you two.
