I can't believe I didn't leave a review for this story since this is already the 10th time I'm reading it. I really love this story. I think it fits Hakkai as he does sacrifice his needs for others. Write more like these please.

Usually fics in which 8 is used will make me depressed but this one is different. I don't know. I suck at expressing my thoughts. But I definitely like this fic. First of all the writing is great. And I think you are quite original. I mean there heaps of fics that deal with their angsty passes and angsty needs, but you make this new. And it kinda makes sense too. Write more Saiyuki fics?

as opposed to the other reveiwer I quite liked it. even though I do think the hakkai/goku pairing is a tad weird, it fit within the context of this story. Your writing style is exelent, but like the other reviewer, I must agree that the Hakkai/Gojyo meeting was the best of all three. You seemed to genuinely enjoy writing that scene...I don't know if you have any other stories, but I would love to read one of yours based on soley hakkai/gojyo. I love the tone of the whole peice. Nice job!

By no means is it a bad story... But you made Hakkai sound like a angsty ** whose lost soul could not be saved. The pairing of Gojyo and Hakkai was good... But it seems that somehow Sanzo and Goku are more for each other... They just aren't meant for Hakkai... Do you really believe that Hakkai would let himself be used as a plaything like that?
