Enkil? Akasha? I mean, wow, very creative. Would make for a pretty cool crossover; have Akasha and Enkil finding the Stargate and fleeing through it. Ha.

In general, I find this story really rather intriguing; if nothing else, the concept of a planet FULL of vampires?
To say the situation is 'yikes'- particularly if they've got a way to get through the Iris on the Earth Stargate; a spell of some kind that allows them unrestricted access through the 'gate?- is a SERIOUS understatement; the group are DEFINITELY going to need to come up with a decent strategy when they get there.
Of course, with the group you've brought together to tackle the problem the results should be interesting to witness; I particularly look forward to seeing how Angel and Blade interact during the mission, given the similarities between the two of them (Both- albeit technically in Blade's case- vampires who've turned their abilities against their fellows; you can't deny that the general details are similar even if the specifics aren't).
Plus, of course, the use of Dana's a nice touch; I always rather liked her character (Even if it was mainly because it proved Angel's the better fighter than Spike; she's the only foe those two have fought individually who wanted to kill them both equally, and yet Angel beat her on their first encounter while Spike lost to her TWICE), so it's good to see that she's 'improved' since she was in Los Angeles.
Admittedly, I think Faith's attitude towards Jack is a BIT over-the-top- it's not like he abandoned her or caused Charlie's death on PURPOSE-, but given the poor life she had prior to her appearance in the series, it does make a certain kind of sense that Faith would feel at least a SLIGHT need to... vent her frustrations... once she's presented with a convenient target.
However, I have one FUNDAMENTAL problem with this whole thing; Giles' attitude towards Angel.
I'm not saying that he doesn't have the right to be a BIT angry, given that Angel is going around with the face of the person who murdered the first woman Giles really loved, but come ON; wasn't it Giles who told Xander that the vampire walking around with Jesse's face wasn't his old friend any more?
Maybe I'm missing something here, but if Giles acknowledges that the vampire isn't the same person as the one who once inhabited the body, how can he blame ANGEL for what ANGELUS did? Angel didn't KNOW about the clause on his curse, he had no control over what Angelus did after it was broken, and he freely acknowledges that he can't atone for what Angelus did but has long since realised that all that matters is doing good for the sake of it rather than for any real 'reward'.
No matter what way I look it, the only reason Giles has to be mad at Angel is that he can't let go of a grudge against the guy for something Angel couldn't control and wasn't even technically RESPONSIBLE for.
As Giles has said on more than one occasion, the soul of the living person and the vampire demon that inhabit the corpse aren't the same person; why is it that he doesn't seem to care about that where Angel's concerned?

The integration of the group from SG-1 with Jack being Faith's father is a great idea. I love the writing and look forward to reading more! Please keep up the great work!

Did you ever see the Mel Gibson/Goldie Hawn flick Bird on a Wire? Christopher Judge, the actor for Teal'c, was an extra. A cop.

He tries to arrest Mel, and Mel does EXACTLY the kick you describe Faith using to hit Judge, who is a huge guy but goes flying--even though Mel was just shot in the tush.

It adds flavor to this first chapter...

I like the story, litle iffy about the characters from other universes being thrown in (like blade and stuff...)
