I know this fic is old and stuff but I just had to comment. This is probably the best JTHM fic I have ever read. You made wonderful job with these characters. You kept them in character but still gave them something new. That's the reason why I read fanfiction. I love it how they explore the characters and their relationships with each other and how they put them into new situations. When I find a jewel like this, I'm a very happy girl.
Also... although there was some spelling mistakes your style of writing is just lovely. It just... flows so nicely, going from humor to serious themes.

This... was possibly the very best JTHM, Squee!, or any other Jhonen-related fanfic that I have ever had the privilage of reading. God, I wish my stories got comments. Curse you, story-ignoring non-commentors!!

Hey. This story was sublime. I REALLY liked it. You wrote all the characters very well and it was easy to see what was going on in their heads. There are so many things that made this story incredible in my eyes.
Squee hiding under his bed and the dusty bunny. ("Pay no mind to the dust bunny trying to eat your legs") That was very good.
Johnny scaring people into givin' Squee candy. Also, him digging a treasure trove of deadly toys out of the goodies. (For some reason it made me very happy to read Shmee tell Squee to grab that one cupcake because it wasn't infected with Johnny's evil, and if Johnny hadn't gotten to it...)
The poor little baby going nuts. On the one hand, you gotta love he's standing up for himself. On the other-
Well, the other's pretty obvious, isn't it?
I LOVED Johnny showing up, and what he said to Shmee. God, I don't know why. Maybe it's because that's what *I* think about that evil little fuzzy bastard. And that thing in the car was heart wrenching. And, everything was so REAL. Well, as real as you can be in the JTHM universe. But, you handled the emotional scenes perfectly.
I did love also, the little things with Pepito. The school paper, driving Squee home ("We have a dental plan" that kills me) and them all meeting at the mart.
It was all a pleasure to read. Thank you for writing this. Please write more fics (Johnny fics, if you can) in the future. Bye.
