I'm a Kankuro fan too - yes, there are more of us! - and I'm also getting fed up with the Naruto fandom, but at least it spawns stories like this. Also, THANK YOU for making the Sand Siblings stay in character. I've seen so many Sand Sibling character rapes, and it's so irritating.

You don't know how hard it is to find good crack pairings. You've certainly done the pairing justice. It came out absolutely marvelous. Excellent. (I did spot a few grammatical errors as I went by, but I was so engrossed in the story, I didn't bother to keep track of where they were, so I could inform you later. KyLewin 2008-05-20 ch 8,	abuseWell, I started reading this story because I was looking for some ideas on how to write Kankuro. Eventually I figured it out enough to get through his little scene and feel like I had a handle on his character, but I kept coming back to this story to read more. I realize you wrote this a long time ago, but I want you to know that I enjoyed it immensely. It had just the right touch of action and comedy to keep me entertained and you took your sweet time slowly developing the relationship in a believable way. Grammar and spelling were both top notch and the characterization of everyone was pretty close, if not spot on (especially given what was known when you were writing this), which makes the feat of bringing together two characters that have absolutely no interaction in canon all the more impressive. Even the last chapter, which you claimed not to like, was handled very well and the ending seemed perfect. This was a fantastic story and I congratulate you on it.

You've breathed life into two characters in the most natural, obvious, challenging way: their battles with each other. My opinion of Kankuro is no longer "That fat ugly Sand guy? Erk." I feel compelled to say it again: your fight scenes are awesome! Spectacular and vivid and awesome! (running out of adjectives!) And e!, romance! Yvonnia 2008-03-25 ch 8,	abuseGah! I love you, seriously. Thank you so much for writing a Kankuro fic. My friend thought that I was nutters for saying that he was cute, but I was only stating a fact. And using Tenten as his leading lady is equally as awesome because it seems like not only have the fans forgotten about her, but Kishimoto seems to as well. So, kudos for keeping her alive in fandom (without having to pair her with Neji). As for your action scenes, I found them engaging. I could picture everything that was written, and I could only image how hard it was to think up all of that. I thought the whole burning Karasu up bit was genius. I would have never thought of that. Anyway I really enjoyed this. And when I get around to finishing the fanart I promised another author, I'll maybe attempt to do one for this fic.
