That was sweet and had just enough Kaoru edge to it. I feel for her frustration. I love how perfectly that boiled over as she asks Kenshin to the picnic, "...she finished, in a tone more suited to the phrase "pistols at dawn". Or a battoujutsu stance." That clever turn of phrase had me laughing.

Very sweet. Just enough fluff so as to let our imagination fill in the rest. I enjoyed the story a lot. I like the idea that she has some domestic abilities and that's she far more than some bokken welding Tomboy. Ja ne!

I loved your fluffy story. Unrepentent fluff is great! I especially liked the more delicate touches - Kaoru's uncertainty about how Kenshin would react if she told him her feelings, and the hint that Kenshin knew she'd forgotten her money and had to go back for it. And she got a hug at the end! Good job!

Sweet! I never saw Joseph and the Techinicolor Dream Coat, so I might've missed some references, but this story was really cute anyway.

I liked all humorous bits! The ending, however, came out as too abrupt and thus slightly dis-appointing... but hey, nothing lasts forever, eh? ;)
