Nice chapter, as always a few of those funny quips I love. “Dawn just watches (that’s her job, right?)” ah, the age old watcher pun. It’s funny every time P

There was also a good bit of heartfelt-ish stuff this chappie. I liked the talk between Dawn and Faith. It was perhaps a *little* bit soppy. Juts a few lines I’ve seen before. I did like the decidedly Dawn touch to the whole scene though.

“And how weird is that—going to Faith for advice on being a Watcher?”

The use of the word “weird” makes it more Dawn like. That’s what I mean.

“If they don’t die an early death, Faith means”

I thought that line was very sad and poignant.

i am liking that connection there.

Oh! A twist! So the pristly man knew Caleb? The plot thikens!

The first part of this chapter is identicle to the last chapter, did you know that?

You seem to update quite often, which is good, becuase I am rather impatient )

This chapter seemd a little flat, not so much of the sparkling wit I love, and it dropped of at the end. Still, it's a good explanation and introduction, even the first tiny impression I have of Kimberly seems to indicate she was trained by Faith. I know she's hardly said much, but she just gives of a Faith manner... well, quickly onto the next chapter!

There was something i loved about the demon-denile of Sunnydale. It made the whole town the innocents and ignorants, and Buffy's "the only chosen *one*" thing so much cooler ) It was kinda sweet in it's own way. I see the logic of everyone waking up to demons, helping to eradicate the problem, but honestly, I like my little struggling secret hero.

Still it's a good idea, and I like the idea that these girls all know how to protect themselves ) but Red? Is that really the best colour? blood is red, and if memory serves me, colour was banned in the "Wish" dimension (you remeber, season three, where Willow and Xander where vamps)I digres, colour was banned becuase it attracted vampires, and everyone wore grey. Still, these girls don't want to hide I spose, they want to tell the vamps loud and clear to stay away or else right?

uh! I want to read more but ballet fast approches.

lol, it's classic. This chappie *is* short, but still sparkling in wit. Still, I can't help thinking it could have been an introduction to the next chapter. You don't have to change chapters every time you change scenes. Then again, the shortness was kind of charming in a way )

Aw! I miss Sunnydale too! I’m always complaining about how much I miss Sunnydale. Actually, I really miss the old Sunnydale High library! But anyway, good (if short) chapter. The last few paragraphs really did it for me, because (as I said) I miss Sunydale. I think you really captured the emotion right there. This line was the crowing achievement of this chapter, “It's moved beyond a bunch of teenagers fighting evil on a Hellmouth.

that last line will keep me comming back for more.

Again with the fantastic one liners. Critixs always said (and somewhat rightly) that BtVS's main draw was it's brillient lines, so for a fic to live up the the fandom, I belive it's imperative to have good lines. There was simply lots of great lines this chapter, but this was by far my favorite:

“When I tell you I can call Orlando Bloom and arrange for him to visit next weekend, then you can look impressed."

Beatrice smiles. "Can you?"

"I wish I could."

Just killer ) But on to some other matters.

70,0 pounds it *a lot* perhaps an amount slightly beyond belief. I doubt anyone ever paid Giles that much, even though he oviously wasn't high counsil. However, I did enjoy the image of little Dawnie in her black leather chair behind her wooden desk.

Oh, and something I forgot to say in chapter 1, although Italian is a lovely language, most of your audience will not speak it. It's lovely to hear the touches of another cultire, but it's also necessary to give the reader a translation (I'm very suspisious, and half expect you where having Dawn and her teacher plot to murder us all P).

Oh, and I love Roger. He talks the same british as old skool Giles ) Unfortunatle, I know have alot of homework to do, so i will read more tomorrow.

Hey, I like this so far. I love Dawn as a Watcher (though I've never actually read any). So, I like the first chapter all right. I love the scooby lingo, "Now that we've demonstrated we all know each other's names" thats so funny and classic. So, now I'm on to the next chapter (unless I suddenly feel like doing homework... hmm, nah P)
