All 4 elements? Unless there's extra limitations on her powers, that essentially makes her Pyro Ocean Petra Kristensen Aiero (and that's not even considering what she could do combining them)... I think if your character is as strong as 4 powerful canon mutants, it's a bit much. But, bahaha, I've thought of it too, admittedly. And paired her with Toad. I just didn't publish it. So I guess I can't complain. :D

A nitpick- Scott's beams can't melt snow because they aren't hot. They're pure force. Any fire/explosions caused by his powers are due to him hitting something flammable or explosive.

Otherwise this is a totally awesome chapter. I love that they act together as a team, and how you introduce your character's powers by showing them in action rather than just telling us what they are. Very good for your first fanfic!

Wow! This was an awesome story. It's hard to find a good Toad/OC story. I loved how you wrote this during the movie and changed it slightly to add what you needed to in order to establish a relationship between Toad and Damia. You wrote it very well. I loved how their relationship progressed throughout the story. I really loved the ending. Poor Dog now has to wait to be fed. LOL! :P

Wow. LOL. I like this one so far. Randomly: are you in high school? Because when I was in high school, I did the SAME thing--waking up at 5 am to get a chapter out before the day started. Unfortunately, I've taken down most of my fics now.

I don't usually review the fanfictions I read, but I like this one a lot. I enjoy your keeping with the movie plot, simply retconning the whole thing without introducing a lot of new changes. Familiar story, new faces. Your style is crisp and straightforward, I haven't noticed any spelling or grammatical errors (a huge feat for some of these writers), and you have just the right balance of mystery, romance, angst, and adventure. Furthermore--I just like the character. The title "Nymph" may be a little cheesy, but it fits, and this scene--with the cracks in the ceiling--actually made me laugh out loud. So inane and amusing, it really sets the tone of the character.

plus, it's something I would totally say when being held prisoner in a possibly life-or-death situation.
