For this you would have gone to a terrible amount of trouble in looking for the history of the time, unless you just have this knowledge in your head. And even if the information isn't true, I believe you anyway.

This is a very interesting and well-written story - I'm glad I saw it! Rowena is an engaging child, and while clearly precocious, is written very nicely as a young, eight year old girl. I'm also curious about these two boys...I imagine she bumped into Salazar (if the boy was also one of the four, and not just a normal young wizarding boy), but would that mean that Arlice is training Godric already?

I hope you don't think me incredibly stupid, but what is a gunna? Is it like a blouse or an apron, or something else entirely?

The only other thing I noticed was that in the first chapter, you used 'exhale', when I think you meant 'exile'. One or two other times, your sentence structure confused me on the first read, but made sense the second time through. I really do like your style of writing, however - it's a very enjoyable read, and certainly has me wondering what's coming next!
