Although, from what I have read, I think I might be able to figure out where this story is going on my own. Ramica and Meier? Hmm... Somehow I don't see Meier going with anyone else, but that is just me. ((MeierCharlottefanforeverxP)) I thought this part was good, although it could have used a little more detail on some parts. I want to read more, so please update soon.
silver ice night 2008-04-14 ch 5,	abuseI recall, at one point, bugging you senseless about this particular story, and yet. To know that you are still working to succeed on it is very very satisfying. I know how you feel about weak writing. I mirror that in many a work of mine. I've found that readers will go for the stuff I feel strongly about. Will read the stuff that inst weak. And pass over the weak for the strong. You've found a delicate balance of good writing and bad writing, the weak and the strong you so detest. However, you're detail is good, and though I wish it was longer, I also know how the muse can come and go as it wishes. Know at least, that even if all seams lost for D and Meier, Dracula and Charlotte, You still have one reader out there whose watching the way that you write.

I know it is cliched but I want her to come back... can't wait for more plot developments in this story i.e. more chapts.

"You loved her that much?" "I /love/ her that much -- and more." "Hm." Gaa a a a aah! ! ! ! There IS more to this story! There MUST be! Charlotte can't just stay dead, it isn't right, it's just too sad- you KNOW Dracula can bring her back, at least as a vampire... really 'in the long run' that would be better-- at least she and Meier could be together! Their love is just so desperate, so absurd, so Romantic! Anyway. Good to see that Dracula 'approves' of Meier, I rather thought he would. and, might I add, it's a pleasure and a thrill to see that the King of Vampires is quite up to par with his usual self... I swear, that character has made the biggest impression on me... I LOVE him. How did you do it? How did you capture such a perfect... presence? He's too cool. Second-favorite dragon sword, lol. Look, have you written anything with Dracula as the main character? If not, you really need to! That story, whatever the plot, would be _The_ masterpiece of vampire fiction... And that's all I've got for a review. Now, although it's a little awkward, I'd kind of like to comment on your author's note at the end, about going though a 'personal tragedy'... no matter what it was, you aren't alone. and it's OK to grieve. Too often the pressure is on to just 'get over it' and that's not right. But I do sincerely hope that you've at least come to peace with whatever happened. Well, Thanks for writing this story, and all your other VHD stories too. Now I'll go read your castlevania story! Take care.

Or just something so delicious, you're almost afraid to ask for more, even though it's the ultimate guilty-ish desire of your heart? yum... Your writing is like that to me! It's just too amazing! I want, SO badly, to ask for more chapters of this story... but I'm a little hesitant to just come right out and scream "Why are you not writing more? ! ?" because I know you probably have your reasons. So I'll just appreciate what you've done so far. what an inspired chapter this was! (hey, if you ever get any original fiction actually published, let me know- I'll be the first to buy it!) Poor girl- it all would have been wonderful if only she hadn't fallen in love with Dracula! Very nice touch, refering to him as "her vampire". No wonder she got all depressed after meeting HIM and being rejected. couldn't he have just sent a letter, and spared her the falling-in-love-with-him part? doesn't he KNOW that he just messed up her life forever, doing it that way? ? This whole tribute system still gives me the hibbilly-jibbillies, but that's part of what makes this chapter so fascinating... it's like an intimate look at the practice of Aztec human sacrifice, or how they used to bury live servants with their masters in ancient china... creepy, but you know that it made sense to the people of that society, and they went along with it at the time and actually beleived it was right... shudder. But now I'll be eternally curious about what happens to Samantha. I can only hope that she wasn't going to become some kind of replacement for Charlotte. No- surely that wasn't your plan. Meier and Charlotte 4-EV! ! !

He's just sitting around getting the tourist's breifing on societal customs-- and what on earth has happened to his beloved Charlotte? anyway, very interesting idea for how vampires and humans could coexist... but I don't like it! "tribute humans" -shiver- gives me the creeps! It's like... communism! (lol. My brain's still in the cold war) I'd rather have a vampire as an outright enemy than a 'master'. Better to die on your feet than live on your knees and all that. anyway, I'm sure Meier would have treated his tribute humans quite well. He was one of the few 'good' Nobles. Even before he got involved with Charlotte, D had heard of him and respected him... so Meier gets to meet his ancient god in the next chapter? can't wait!

It's frustrating- all these stories that I'm really enjoying, and I can't encourage or praise the authors because the evil internet keeps eating my reviews... and that's not all, I can't reply to reviews now either. Argh! but anyway, none of that has anything to do with this chapter, so I apologize. At first, I didn't know who 'she' was at the beginning, but after she mentioned her 'ancient god' it all snapped into place: Larmica! Oh awesome! she seems to be a rather overlooked character in VHD fanfiction, unfortunately. D's conversation with her really is one of the best parts of the movie and the book. And now Meier and charlotte have actually made it to the city of night... Is charlotte a vampire now?
