Still loving the childhood memories you bring back in Tony, helping him at least for an instant forget where he is, although the harsh reality of prison always returns, all too soon. Looking forward to the rest of the fic. Although I can't imagine it'll be all too pleasant to the end.
JackAddict 2006-09-11 ch 2,	abuseI just decided to finally read this thing! so, i'm stuck at chapter 2 for now, and of course, it's so good. you always do this, bring back tony's memories from childhood or happier times and then just snatch them away from the poor guy, damn it makes me sad again :-( but as always: great writing and I'll read more soon! (Lost is on TV now, can't miss that ;-)

soswimmer13 2006-04-08 ch 24,	abusei liked this chapter. my grandpa was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War, apparently his CO offered to write him up for a purple heart for an injury he recieved whilst playing ping-pong. obviously this was before they changed the purple heart rules to combat wounds, as opposed to "wounds" recieved on active duty in time of war.
chezlovesyou 2006-02-15 ch 58,	abusewow. i'm speechless. i admit, i had seen this story on MANY "favorites" lists, but the number of words and chapters made it look so daunting! plus, i wasn't exactly sure how that much could be written taking place in a single day... either way i decided to go ahead and try reading it, mostly because i knew what a strong writer you are... but i was SO wrong. if I were a producer and worked for FOX, in a heartbeat i would hire you to write a movie about Tony's life, based on these stories... i also approximated how many words are in a typical novel, and this story surpasses them, so if i were a publisher I'd no doubt want publish this amazing story. all in all, i THROUGHLY enjoyed reading this. true, i tended to skimp-out on other things i should have been doing, and i stayed up WAY too late for many nights, entranced by my computer screen, but i have to say it was all worth it! the flashbacks were perfect. you showed the right moments and didn't go too much in detail about certian time periods (read: dating Nina) that wouldn't be as pleasant to read. i loved all the chapters with Tony and Michelle together, and you illustrated them to a point. i have to say, i am very glad I read "In Federal Custody" and when I have some extra time, I'm going to start reading the sequel story --whose chapter numbers dont look quite so frightening now,especially when i know how amazing the content will be! I cannot wait to read more of your stories, and thank you for sharing your amazing gift for all of us to read! -Shea

I'll go ahead and read the rest in due time, 58 chapters of one story and 40 of the other, that's pretty impressive.
AgentRez 2005-08-05 ch 58,	abuseThis is really good...depressing, but really good. Just one question - is your fic AU? I am asking because you said at the end you were going to write about his year in prison...since the presidential debate indicates that season 3 took place in late September or sometime in October, the most Tony could have been in prison for is 4 months before Palmer left office. Just curious about that...a lot of fics have him spending unrealistic lengths of time in prison...otherwise I really like this story...it made me cry at parts.

(I FEEL VERY MUCH LIKE THE END OF S3 WHERE AFTER ALL THE SHITE THEY'VE BEEN TROUGH TONY'S STILL SEND TO FEDERAL) WIH THE CHILDHOOD MEMORIES THERE WAS A APRKLE OF HOPE, THEN WITH THE MICHELLE MEM. THRE WAS FULL HOPE AND IN THE LAST 2 (MAYBE4) CHAPTERS YOU JUST CRUSHED ME AND ...YOU PUT HIM IN JAIL! looking very much forward to this "first year in prison" fic. please stop planning it and write it for us. i'm dying to know what happends next, is the no-name guard coming back? is the arsehole-guard coming back? any interesting people in "limbo"? will you continue youre writing style? i really liked the chronological backflash followed by the present but i guess you don't have enough time to fill up an entire year(i mean you did almost 30 years in 1 night) althoug filling the time with m/t sweetness is no prob. for me. ^_^ THE STORY WAS GREAT!! LOVED IT AND GETTING WORKED UP ABOUT IT !(THAT'S A GOOD THING DON'T WORRY). THE STORY WAS DEFENETTLY WORTH THE 58 CHAPTERS NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE WRITE. KEEP UP THE WRITING!! (EVEN IF IT'S JUST TO SATISFFY OUR NEEDS)
