I like the plot of the story, altough Sesshomaru seemed abit out of character. He's always so incheck with his emotions. I think that he would have had his emotional battle on the inside. I don't think he would have even let a single tear show on the outside. But I understand if you were going for vulnerability. But I like it and look forward to reading the next chapter.

Oh, this is such a good start. How will Rin cope? How will Sess cope? Don't leave us hanging! Pls write more. And if any of my IY fics catch your interest, I'd love to hear from you.
