wow, I just stumbled into this fic and know i kind of curious to know what hapened, I love how in character you portrait kenken and Aya *slight chuckle* even if we fans want to see the two kittens snuggling together the slow relationship development is cool as well, specially with Ken's constant blushing, who can't resist that? *lol* the same goes with aya's jealous attacks... ahahah I so love those two, and personally I want to see more RxK action in future chapters, even if Kase is always in the way *sigh*

I think this is a very interesting fic, I can't wit to see more chapters soon and of course I'll be waiting eagerly for Aya and ken to kiss!! (and hopefully more? XD is good to dream hahaha)

I'm glad you got your muse back and updated again; I was afraid that this would be doomed to lie unfinished forever. Grammar mistakes aside, it was an interesting chapter. I liked Youji's explanation for why Ken hasn't confided in Ran yet and why Ran feels so betrayed by that. I hope you manage to rope the muses down long enough to finish this one.

I couldn't believe it when I checked out fan fiction net and saw a new chapter of you. God, you made my day! Anyways, let's review.
Okay at first I found it very strange that Ken's therapist would allow him to push himself so hard and for such a long time cause normally they want you to push yourself but not to push the envelope cause that will only have negative effects in the long run. One of the first things you always get to hear there is that it's going to take time and that you should take your time and not get frustrated when you feel like you're not progressing anything cause they know what they are doing and have made a therapy shedule that is personalised to your needs. But then I read how Kase had asked them to keep Ken there so I guess that that is the real reason behind Kurogani's allowance. He probably realised that it was the only way to keep Ken there until Kase showed up.
But I'm not surprised that Ken was pushing the envelope cause in the previous chapter we already learned that he can be very stubborn and just keeps pushing himself till he drops almost dead. Especially when there is no Ran in sight to keep a leash on how far he pushes himself.
I can understand that Ken in a way is glad for the constant throbbing in his leg cause as you said yourself, it makes him feel that he's still alive and it is also a proof to him that he is working on getting the use of his leg back.
I hadn't however suspected that we would be confronted with Kase once again this soon. I thought that we had gotten rid of him for at least a few chapters. But then again, it would indeed have been strange not to have Kase show up at the first occasion Ken was somewhere that Kase could obtain information about. After all he wants to put Ken somewhere in some backward hospital to keep him out of sight and I think that momentarily that is one of Kase's main concerns. Whether it is to protect Ken or to get Ken out of the way is something that still needs to be seen. I still don't trust him for as far as I can throw him. It can be that I'm influenced by what happened in the anime but well ... there are just too many things that don't add up where Kase is concerned.
Kase may give good arguments as to why it would be better that Ken would leave his new found friends and would go to the clinic Kase has set up but because I don't trust him I just can't help but feel that Kase just knows what he needs to say to get Ken to agree to do what he wants and that he doesn't really mean what he is saying. In my opinion he doesn't care at all about what could happen to Ran and the others. He is just afraid that they will discover the truth and that his own ivolvement will become known.
So Tsuki isn't dead. I can't really remember anymore whether or not we already knew this. I know Yohji said Tsuki had been investigating what had happened to Ken and had been taking out but I can't rememeber anymore if he told the others whether or not Tsuki had survived the attack or not. In any case I am glad that he is still alive cause from the little we got to see him in action, I really liked him and you could see the strong bound between him and Ken.
But talk about a nice surprise with having Ken's mentor having been with Tsuki and haven't survived the attack. I wonder if Yoshi was also looking into Ken's case. I do hope we'll get to know more about this Yoshi guy in the next chapters cause I have a feeling that the little info we got here isn't all that was there to Yoshi.
And how are Ken and Kase involved in it all? I don't know why but for some reason I have a feeling that Ken's father (or his adoptive father cause I can't remember exactly anymore if he was adopted or not) is behind it all. That he is one of the leading figures in the group that has caused all this mishap to Ken and his friends. And who knows, maybe Kase is working for Ken's father. Did he befriend Ken to be able to keep an eye on him. Yep, I can already see Kase do something like that.
Panic attack? It looks like something much worse. I myself suffer from panic attacks but I never have had them this bad so I'm wondering if Ken's attack really was a panic attack. The attacks Ken suffered before where real panic attacks, but this one? In any case I can perfectly understand that it has spooked Ran so much. It must have been very hard for him to see Ken like that and this time not being able to do anything for the boy.
And okay eavesdropping may not be a nice thing to do but I would have done exactly the same thing in Ran's case. It's as he said himself, it may be the only way to get to know more about what is going on since Ken is so tight lipped about it all. Yet Yohji also made a good point. Ken doesn't know them all that long and in a way he can't be certain that they are the good guys so it is only normal that he is cautious. Coupled with the fact that Ken doesn't want Ran and the others to get hurt and by dragging them into the whole mess he is currently in that possibility becomes a whole lot more real.
And I just love how you write Yohji. He's just great!
I'm curious if they'll be able to get something out of Kase or not and what will happen next. Why do I have this bad feeling that Kase is going to try and seperate Ken from the others by sending him to that clinic without Ken's consent?
Hope you'll be able to update before summer and that the muses will keep inspiring you cause I'm very very glad to see this story continued. By the way what are 'Series 7'? I've never heard of that.
