Good story...like other reviewers I like how you used Ivanova's latent telepathy in this story. It makes sense that she would have some sense of how Marcus feels about her mentally, since he does everything but spell it out for her in every other way. :)

One quick note: I did notice one word that didn't seem to make sense until I read the sentence out loud...and then I think I understood what you meant. Here's the sentence from your story that I'm referring to:

"What's up?" She asked afraid he was going to come at her with indigence at what she done to him in the Zocalo.

The word "indigence"...I looked it up in the dictionary and it means "seriously impoverished condition; poverty." Did you perhaps mean "indignance" or "indignation"? The word "indignance" actually came up as an obsolete form of the word "indignation" which was defined as "strong displeasure at something considered unjust, offensive, insulting, or base; righteous anger," which seemed to fit with your sentence.

I sincerely hope you don't take offense at this...I really am enjoying your stories and think they're fantastically written.

*sigh* they're so perfect for each other... you really captivatet their relationship and personalities well. As well as the tragic aspect of it all.

This was lovely. A perfect moment to slip into the continuity. You're right, something must have happened-something off-screen-before what she said to him on the White Star. I so wish it could go farther! Like others, I think the description of her telepathic experience of Marcus's feelings is perfect.

oh! sweet! there so needs to be a sequel! i mean, you could just leave it there and it would all be well and good, or you could continue...(HINT, HINT!) more pleaz! ^_^

And the "gentle hum" was a lovely touch! I can just imagine it. Comfortable, safe, and yet seeming-too-good-to-be-true.

awww, what a great fic. You had me teary eyed. :( Ivonova and Marcus are so right for eachother. I was like "JMS, YOU'RE IN BIG TROUBLE" when I saw Endgame for the first time.

I enjoyed the mention of Susan's repressed(?) telepathy, and how this might affect her relationship with Marcus. The author's idea is very interesting, that Susan might actually bask in Marcus' mental attention.

i love this story! tho i must say that i really can't see marcus drinking wine but what the heck! this is fanfic and we can do whatever we please. and i still love the story! keep writing more m/i fics. (hint, hint) =)
